I've just cooked that for breakfast.. Massive volume, wow... 50g oats, 2 egg whites, 7x more water + 100 almond milk. Even then it was still fluffy and well glued together, thanks a lot.
@@Nik2555 Plus protein powder. I'm not made from money to buy 12 eggs and use 6 for egg whites while throwing the yolks. There's no such thing as pure egg whites where I live, not in a store and on line there's only 1 site hence not worth it
@@nickal3x Just to add to this: bulk (the website in the description) sells cheap eggwhites, I just ordered 6x 1kg for 30€, really cheap. Usually its 40€ but its on sale rn just letting you know
Good stuff there! For the 2nd meal. perhaps using a spatula or knife to press down or cut along the middle between the two halves, then use a broad-based tool/cutlery to support the half you're folding.
Your channel is amazing! I just found it yesterday and I've already gotten a lot of meal ideas. My current macros is 1800 calories with 180g of protein so your videos have been helpful. thanks.
Adding the egg whites is a game changer to protein oats, crazy good for volume and protein content together with the protein powder and oats 👍☀️ Gotta try the xanthan gum too 👌🏻
hey man, ever thought of making some cuts, in order to separate your videos for specific recipies? I always go back to your videos for some random recipie i remember you making :)) it would be easier if you a had some separate vids as well with a single one. anyway, great job as always!
I think it's a good insight into what these meals look like for the cals. But It looks like you get to cook all your meals from fresh ??? Have you ever done meal prep style vids ?? I do like your vids tho
Hey bro love your videos. I've been watching your videos for a while and I've noticed that you don't include any rice into your meals. Do you not like rice or is it because rice is too high in calories? Keep up with the great videos. Awesome content 👏👌
Love your meal ideas! So this may be a dumb question, but after the oatmeal is prepared and cooked, can it be eaten cold? Can I prep it the night before and take it cold to work or no? TIA for answering! ;)
You probably won’t see this comment but my protein powder curdles leaving a grainy texture in my porridge when I put tin like u did after the microwave do u know how to prevent that?
Will tennyson adds cauliflower rice to his oats. This is great for turning a small volume of oats into a massive bowl. It might sound disgusting but it’s actually not and a great volume hack. Cauliflower is so low in calorie density
Hello JC, long time follower, first time commentor. Massive thank you for all these amazing recipes, they taste so good 🙌 what are the chances of seeing a JC spin on some high protein vegetarian or maybe even some vegan recipes sometime soon? Thanks bro, keep up the awesome work👍
Just finished a bowl of yogurt, berries and dark chocolate. WOW 🔥 absolutely unbelievable if you’re like me and have a MAJOR sweet tooth. Adding some white chocolate flavouring from MyProtein is a game changer too! Thanks for the idea pal.
I want to try the protein porridge, can I just buy any kinds of oats? Also will it taste eggy or mostly like protein powder cause I'm not a big fan of egg taste
Newbie to the channel but I'm hooked with your enthusiasm and creativity with recipes! Would you ever consider doing a low carb/ketogenic day of eatting? I'd appreciate the day off from modifying your recipes 🤣
Tip for folding the omelette: with a spatula or a spoon slightly cut through the middle of the omelette (not all the way through) and then go for the fold.
