Yesss please do the video on how you got from 0 - 10km please! I am currently on my running journey and the thought of 10km scares me but I’m determined to get there!
Hello! I’m obviously not holly (unfortunately) but I can share how I managed. I remember the 3km was always my favorite distance, and then I got bored of it and went to 5km for a few months. I noticed in that time that i would finish 5km and not even he winded, felt pretty normal. So that day I just decided to do a 10km. It was pretty rough and I was a lot more tired than usual and the next day I felt it in my legs A LOT. I had sore legs for a few days but I decided not to drop to 5 again and just went up to 7km that week and then went straight back to 10km when my legs weren’t so stiff. 10km is now my fav distance🧚♀️. I can do 15km but 10 is definitely what I want to work on to get faster
Love the mindset at 16:00 where you talk about not doing another strict phase, being realistic and rational and healthy and getting the most enjoyment out of life. I needed to hear that thank you xx
Yesss please do a phase 1 (beginner) to phase 2 (intermediate) running journey and tips video! I would love to do a half marathon but I literally have the lowest base level of cardio/endurance possible lol so I know it'll take at least 6-12 months to even build up to that. Would be amazing to hear your personal experience and what's helped you so we can take what we can from that :) like how much to increase per week, how many runs you started off with as a complete beginner, etc.
welcome to the world of distance running!! fair warning, it's a slippery slope, so don't be surprised if you're coming into the finish line at the half and your brain starts saying, 'you know what would be great? doing twice this'. next thing you know you're signing up for a full marathon. and then a 50k. (ask me how i know hahaha) strength training is one of the things my coach is trying to work on with me to add it back into my weekly routine, so you are in an awesome position with your strength training background! can't wait to hear how the race goes!!
I keep a magnetic pad on my fridge for when I'm running low on house stuff. I'm the same as my meals are so well planned out my food is always ordered correctly. So when I'm running out of non food things I just write them on the fridge and add the items to my shop. Your running plan is sound, great for a beginner! A lot of beginner plans add in speed sessions which, when you're building distance, is just unnecessary.
Holly I really really enjoyed watching your full day of eating vlog so so much you are my inspiration and I wish you reach 20K Subscribers very very soon!💕🌸😭
helloooo, ur vid was so good! just a lil question, do u track your fruit and veg in ur meals? if you don’t, do you find it has ever affected ur progress? they obviously have calories but it can seem a bit obsessive to track everything!! thanks girl xxx
Ah thank you so much!! So I don’t because they are so good for you and low in Cals! I have a consistent amount day to day (think of a fist full with every meal) I’ve been tracking for 3 years and it’s never made a difference xxx
