Hi Cassie I was one of the first lady truck drivers in the late 70's here in USA. That was before automatic transmissions and no power steering I drove a 13 speed truck and when I had to turn the wheel I had to stand up and put muscle into it I'm only 5ft 3inc and weight at the time small. One truck my foot couldn't reach the foot feed so we had to put a block of wood there so I could drive I loved trucking and have all kinds of stories to tell. I traveled from the east coast to the west coast Enjoy your time doing it and collect good memories

@@donjulio4025 All the trucks i was in from 1969 on through the years had power steering no automatics and no air ride like come out in trucks in the middle to late 80's. For a good while cabovers rulled the roads it was said because the DOT had a restriction on the length a truck and trailer could be.

Men medens jeg var ansat, kom der et par stykker på fuldtid, men De holdt hurtigt op igen, da De ville læse i en videregående uddannelse. Vi var 300 chauffører på 8 garageanlæg. I worked for a Swedish Company called Tetra Pak. I really enjoy watching your videos. Sweden is one of my favourite countries and during the 38 years working for Tetra Pak, I visited many, many times. Mostly staying south Sweden around Malmo and Lund, but also staying in Stockholm. Swedish people are very gentle and well behaved. I had 38 yrs of the best job I could ever have imagined. Great videos. thanks!!

I just love going along watching your video as you drive along the countryside. The scenery is magnificent. I live here in the tropics, Fiji and the coldest we get is around 18-19 degrees centigrade and even that on very rare occasion. I just love video logs put up on RU-vid by truckers from the world over. Stay safe on the roads.

Hey Cassie .. enjoyed your vlog .. first off re the freezing wipers .. when the defrost is on, it comes from the bottom of the windshield over the windshield and then escapes up tp the roof of the cab .... if you put your sun visor straight down it traps, redirects the hot air back down in front of the windshield .. see if it works for you ..... . No Trucks .. No Truck Parking ... is the same here but they want things on the store shelves ..... people have to remember "if you bought it a truck brought it" ..... thx for sharing Cassie .... and as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans .....

@@TruckerCassie ..... had a feeling you would know about that, just hadn't opened that bag of tricks this winter yet ... I learnt that when I was down south, in Dallas in a truck stop and people where talking that the forecast was for 2 inches (5cm) of ice and I asked the waitress what that meant, her reply was that there would be freezing rain of 2 inches .... when I woke in the morning everything was covered in an inch of ice, long icicles hanging from the mirrors and the trucks that were still traveling in the rain and got in sometime during the night, the icicles were at a 45 degree angle on those trucks. Something to see. Cell phones were a new thing in those days and no camera app yet. I got out of the truck to go in for breaky and promptly ended up on my ass .... thx for your reply Cassie .... have an exceptional week .....

Plus alt det diesel lastbilen skal have på og sende ud. I am a new subscriber, and I must admit, you've got me hooked Cassie. TBH I love these style of vlogs, where you show us how your your day went. As to the length of the video, I'd be happy with 30mins of you doing what you doing, but also maybe in the future a vlog of you at home, would be nice too ... anyways, thank you for your time Cassie, love seeing girls doing odd jobs like driving trucks etc.
I remember the bad days of having to unload a 48 foot trailer by hand onto 4 wheel dollies into a warehouse it would take a crew up to 4 hours on some loads and after that stuff i said if a fork lift can't load it and unload it i will not haul it.
I have two dogs and they absolutely panic during thunderstorms or fireworks. Although selling firework was prohibited this sylvester here in Germany you were allowed to fire up any remainig from last year (it has been prohibited too back then) and quite some people still had plenty in their stock. It hasn't been that much but it was enough to scare those poor fellows. They're both adopted from the shelter so we don't know what they've been through before. It's always a hard time to get them out of the house a few days after but we're back to normal now. Before I had dogs I never cared about fireworks but now I literally hate it. All the noise, smoke and garbage and all animals are scared- I would'nt mind if they keep it prohibitate from now on. BTW Happy New Year Cassie and I'm looking forward for more full day Vlogs :D
I enjoy the longer videos, as you do things really differently over in Europe than we do them here in the US. Even the trailer air and electrical hook up different. Hope you have a good weekend as well.

Most dogs are scared of fireworks. You have to get them used to fireworks by doing a few training sessions where you progressively expose them to louder and louder fireworks sounds (there's plenty of recording on youtube). Regardless of the dog's training, never go out with the dog during a fireworks show without the dog on a leash, otherwise you might never see the dog again ;-)

I find with that crane truck story it’s the the supplier who hasn’t passed on the info about the deliveries. As the supplier who actually put the order for delivery, so when the customer at the drop off point as a special instruction they tell the supplier who then doesn’t tell us the transport company about said special instructions.

Do whatever works for you. 😊 What you are saying about Alfie and fireworks sounds like my own cat. He is 18 years now and has never been scared of fireworks. Actually it's more the opposite, so I keep him indoors to prevent him from approaching fireworks about to launch. It's become kind of a new year's tradition that he insists on being let out, then when he realizes it's not gonna happen he sighs dramatically and goes to sleep on the table he's not supposed to be on. 😊

Saw a video where you slept in the truck, and 200 liters of diesel were stolen while you slept. With modern tech, why not install videos to record during sleep! You only need one or a few to cover the truck and access to it. You could have one pointed at the tank area, and another pointed at the road to catch the thief's car. They don't consume a lot of power when active.
