Vegetable studio your videos inspired me to pursue my dreams and leave my wife and kids for sim racing and drifting. I cannot thank you enough young man for opening my eyes.
Yeah, I agree, for 350mm wheels R9 is the way to go. Also, as a user of R9 on table setup I can say that you'll be hitting those table clamps with your knees a lot! For some reason nobody mentions this.
I own the R5 and if you play "slower" games like ETS2 or Snow Runner you can perform quite well with the R5 and use a 35 cm wheel. But for drifting or racing where the force feedback and torque will be pushed to the limit it is not recommended to use a bigger after market wheel then 33 cm (such as the CS V2 steering wheel).
Heureux de voir cette nouvelle vidéo . Grand merci d`ailleurs, je ne pensais pas qu`il y avait ces problèmes ... en effet, personne `en parle . J`espère que vous allez bien 🙂
having just gotten into the Moza R9 myself, i can say that a lot of the oscillation is the fault of Assetto corsa, not the moza software/base. I had to mess with assetto's content manager/CSP force feedback stuff to get it to behave. now it's fantastic. took a bit of fiddling in assetto though. but other stuff like RBR was perfect straight away (although I had to download a registry fix from MOZA's page specifically for RBR since it's super old, but it worked no hassle once i ran that installer).
hey man, I'm struggling with the oscillations a lot on my r5 with assetto, could you please drop your settings for content manager? I'd really appreciate it
@@turtlemaster680 pretty much just slowly increase filter until it's manageable. i still haven't really solved it. i think im running like 17% filter or something. realized there was some box called 'basic' that was checked in the CSP FFB Tweaks section. i turned that off. idk if it helped or what. maybe a bit.
@@turtlemaster680 basically just turned all the effects down/off, and then slowly increased filter until it felt better. it still oscillates more than it should.. not really sure what more i can do though.
@@WaffleShortage honestly bruh I'm just gonna return it. I had a much happier experience with my g29 anyway. it may not feel as realistic but at least I don't have to deal with the headache of knowing I spent 600 dollars total on a wheel I'm not happy with. sucks that I lose out on shipping tho
I own an R5 bundle as well and I don't know why your table clamp is like that but my table clamp is solid. It doesn't loosen even on longer usage. Before I bought my wheel stand I was using my table and it never moved. The part of the clamp that locks it in to place (don't know what it's called, sorry) doesn't have a rubber on it so clamping on a metal plate will probably not yield the best result. I'm using Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 and I can also only mount two screws. However, mine doesn't rattle like yours do. it's solidly mounted on mine.
Have the R9 with aftermarket wheel since last year..and didn’t like how it felt for drifting even after trying other people’s settings..I guess getting their official wheels will make the drifting experience better..surprised they haven’t fixed this yet in firmware..glad I have my alpha mini..R9 collecting dust
i have an R5. I feel like the mount is more than strong enough. i felt like it was loose at first but it turned out i didn’t tighten the mounting screws properly. try that and it might be more stable
can you share your current setting? which version of pure and csp u use .. and the ppfilter, loved your filter so much, and i remember that you have two version setting one for playing and one for recording, can you share that again? it is so nice that you can make these beautiful video which only 3060 ti😂unbelievable . So awsome❤️❤️❤️
great vid! i use dfgt so watching vids on wheels that are out of my price range by a massive margin is fun lol. what 180 mod are you using in the drift clips?
Hmm, Thrustmaster or Moza wheel for drifting and grip racing? Idk which one is for the best. I just hope Moza gets the wheel for PS5 version so, I can play GT7 Sport soon lol.
loved the review. being someone who just recently bought the R5 Bundle i agree with everything you've said also i have a question: which car was used for the drifting segment and can i have a link to it by chance?
Between this and the T300, which one do you prefer? Undecided between both. This one is a DD, but the T300 doesn't seem to have the firmware issues you mentioned for this (like the oscillations).
Not gonna lie, having some C O O L V I B R A T I O N On the wheel could be useful for a *hand workout* Still gonna prep some spare change in case the DD shat itself sooner than expected by aboosing the Shingo Vibrator xD
The thing I HATE the most about my Moza wheelbase is how the rotation speed is severely limited, even at 200% in Pit House. It's so f&%king slow, I can't do manji drifts or fast transitions, even with 0 friction and 200% speed. I'm considering swapping it for an Alpha Mini.
Hey, Veget, my friend just bought Moza R5. His wheel is shaking as hell when he put his hands off while driving. Did you solved this problem? Or did you even had it?
