If you're an off grid cruiser like me. You NEED to be able to get around. But what makes a good dinghy when you're so remote? Let me show you.

I just bought one and am waiting for delivery. Can't wait to get out there. Try a 2lb Mantus anchor. They're not cheap, but damn do they hold. And they come apart for storage.

Plan on picking up an Enduro during our next trip over to the Bahamas. Our little 6hp doesn't quite cut it for the longer dinghy runs.

I have a simular setup: added a bailing pump, a Cooper Anchor on a stern bungee, double anchor line on the front (in case one fales) and a small boat hook to grab a cleat or rail in rough seas.

Just to make it completely clear morse code correctly for SOS is three dots or short flashes or beeps, is S , three long dashes or flashes or beeps is O followed by three more short ones ie another S = SOS

honda, tohatsu and suzuki also make great motors. iv'e owned them all. My Dewalt 5" grinder would cut that lock in less than 60 seconds. Best to not leave your boat in unsavory places. Iv'e had several stolen in the Caribbean and even South Florida.
