Full English Breakfast + London Borough Market = Best Traditional Recipe 

Amazing how technology has transformed the world. Twenty years ago , I would have had no choice but to settled for inane daytime television as a source of entertainment and diversion, now I'm watching some fella in London prepare a traditional English breakfast. And I must say, I'm finding it interesting. He's provides little tidbits of English history along the way during his narration.

Love the new format of shopping for ingredients to a traditional British meal at a local market and then cooking it at your place. You're going to give Jaime and Gordon a run for their money! Great job!

Robert, I loved this video. Borough Market was on my bucket list when I visited the UK back in June, but unfortunately an attack happened and the market was closed while I was in London. I am from Yorkshire but now living in Australia and I do miss some of the most fantastic British cuisine, especially the sausages. This video was wonderful and showed me the market. Thank you. I made an English breakfast not long ago similar to this one. I had a rye toast instead of sourdough since I prefer that sort of flavor. English breakfasts aren't something we really have here in the US, but aside from the black puddings, you should be able to find most of what you need for just about any variant of a full breakfast. After eating that, I remembered your video and wanted to come back to it. There are so many videos on the "right" English breakfast. I'd argue there is no right English breakfast. Just the one that's right for you. Eat what you like. Enjoy what you like.

I have watched this breakfast video more than once each time I am reminded of what a good job you do.

I had an English breakfast in London a year or so ago, at a cafe and it was really good!! The mushrooms looked very cool!

I bought some back bacon and rashers from Ginger pig last week. All wrapped up and vacuum packed. I opened up the back bacon to find that they were literally 70% fat. I feel a bit conned.

I'm very hungry now..... we'll definitely need to visit the market when we visit London this coming August.

The first time in Yorkshire as a 7 yr old boy, I was served little fish with heads still on. 1974. I was both amazed and revolted but I pretended to enjoy it.. Im from Dallas and we were used to "streaky" bacon eggs and potatoes for breakfast. At the time I could not know if they were proud of the fish for breakfast or insulting me...I chose to tell them I liked the fish..I wish I had enjoyed the food from this vid.

This one is good. It has all of the basics. I do full english from time to time. I often use HP sauce but never tried it with a splash of worstershire but can't think of a reason not to. Black pudding is almost impossible to find where I live.

One of the best videos that I have seen on the subject of The Full English Breakfast. All bases covered as they say. Well done! I was going to dislike until you "fessed up" to the fact that Tea is the preferred beverage rather than Coffee.

My favourite meal anytime...breakfast, 2nd breakfast, lunch, supper, dinner......Yum! Chiccory. coffee, N'awlns style goes great with it.

Funny stuff. Still only 18 k subs. I like to see LONDON I was a market trader for over 30 years . Worked at some of the old markets in town. Times have changed nice to see some of my old stomping grounds. Real markets are finished. Food stalls and tourists . Business is on the internet supermarkets are next for the chop . a tip my freind,put the beans on to warm first [et them stew down for about 40 mins on a [ow heat,the sugars in the beans comes out,just lovely.

great Job, I grew up in the UK and spent most of my life in Canada..I was working on the Oil and Gas Sable Island oil field being ferried out to Sable Island on a supply boat The MVSB RYAN LEET ,and found out the cook was from Blackpool. after a chat went to bed, got up for breakfast at 5 the next morning to find a full English breakfast being served, my Canadian workers had no Idea, till I started tucking in..they soon realized...this was way better than Corn Flakes and burnt toast...and Granola BTW we don't brew coffee that way here either..

Black pudding is fairly common in the USA. Especially at the Irish pubs or Scot provisioned. You can buy domestic or imported from Europe.

I'm half way through the video, and no beans yet. Beans are a major component of the "Full English", and a great complement to the bacon and the sausages, so why didn't you cook them, Rob?

For me, part of the "taste" and "flavor" and joy of a great breakfast is affordable and simple ingredients. I'm guessing you spent around $40 usd. For the sake of your video, wanting to show the market area, I can understand the added cost. We have the same type of breakfast here in America, minus the blood sausage and larger sausages, we do however eat smaller link sausages or sausage patties, but mostly, smoked sliced bacon. We also sometimes do a fried potato. I hear London is a very expensive city to live in. I live in Kansas City, KS. We can get 1lb of butter for $3, bread for $3, 1lb bacon for $3 and 18 eggs for $1.50. Or if you shop at the over priced markets, you can spend double of the prices I just listed. Thanks for the video, I really enjoyed it. I'm going to sub based on the quality of this video. Thank you.

There IS a pretty way of serving the breakky - tongs and care. You need both, but you could probably get away with just care. The egg yolks look divine.
