This time, amongst the brides they help are one that is terrified of wearing dresses, one who is looking for more bling than they can offer, and a bride who is so sure she won't find a dress, that she is shopping 3 years in advance.

I have watched the episodes countless times. Al and Jo really rock as fashion experts and therapists. They intuitively know just what words to say. They are strong advocates for their lucky customers if the situation warrants advocacy.They are two remarkable women who inspire me when I talk to my patients.

These gals are not miracle workers. They work with what they are presented with and I think they do a magnificent job. Some of these people are quite heavy and that's a challenge in itself to get them into the right dress . I think they ought to be awarded the academy award of getting people in the right wedding dress.

I love the British way of saying, “Please be upstanding”! So formal and elegant. 🥰 I’m sad when I hear these women say that they never wear dresses, because dresses are awesome! Sometimes it’s nice to wear a garment that has airflow and doesn’t have fabric touching every inch of your legs. 😁

I like that they have so many 40 plus and 2nd time brides that go for a big white gown. And I love that they don't go with common believes like "mermaid is a no-go for big brides".

England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 is beautiful but the weather can be up and down. So packing can be a pain. If you don’t know anyone there it can be VERY expensive indeed for even a motel. Many motels like hotels were fixed up so jacked up the prices at the same time. 😳🙄

I remember how horrible my first dress buying experience was. I gave up on bridal salons right then and there. I went and found an up and coming designer, had it custom designed and made for far less than anything I could have ordered.

My second wedding was the wedding of my dreams!!! Everything was perfect!! The first time I saw my husband in his snow white tux, i teared up 😅 He was so beautiful!!! Goodness, even remembering it gives me the same feeling ❤ I have a guilty pleasure - I love trying on wedding dresses.

why does the dress have lacing and a zip. The lacing has more leeway. My daughter had a formal dress and put on weight and I had the zip taken out and lacing put in and problem solved.

Marianne looked beautiful but wish these young women wouldn't focus on their arms. The arm coverings were nice but I think it was so tight it brought more unnecessary attention to her arms. This is just my opinion and doesn't mean a thing. As long as she is happy that's all that counts. Thanks to Jo and Al for all they do to make these brides so gorgeous

It's kind of silly to shop three years in advance. I know she wants to get the important things out of the way, but she could stress eat and the dress might not fit. The styles may change too. What's in now may not be in three years from now.
