​@@adwoamk8918 They showed her fitting, not her chosing the dress. It was her dress that her mom already paid for and that had already been altered to fit her... She probably tried on different dresses because picking this one. She just changed her mind months later and decided to ignore what everyone was telling her. I feel bad for her mom

The tape worked fine and I got the finished look I wanted and it lasted all night, getting it off was a bit sore though 🙃 x

I could not believe at her age, that she had her Mother, work long hours to buy her wedding dress, and then ruined it… if she had to paid for it herself, she would not have used a scissors on it, as it was obvious that the lace would look that bad…

LOL! … Now now Doris! Any sales woman worth her salt knows that the customer is “always right”. Even when they are so obviously and painfully WRONG! I worked in high-end retail sales for 6 years. I had become adept at being respectfully honest without being insulting. It takes some time and study 📖 of human behavior to know how to navigate a successful sale, while doing right by your customers. Ultimately; you won’t always make sale, but when done right you will earn the respect and loyalty of every potential customer, because you really are looking out for that person’s best interests and just just your bank account. You really need to genuinely love helping others present the best version of themselves. Integrity is hard to come by today, especially within the retail sales industry, but thankfully still exists in some rare and priceless gems 💎 💎, such as Jo and Al. I thank them for the healing and beautiful work they have done in the lives of the beautiful brides they have helped , as well as all of us fuller- figured women who have been treated less than in our culture because we are not the waifs the industry would prefer us to be. It is a beautiful and priceless gift 💝 to have the ability to instill in someone a sense of acceptance and self - love / self- esteem. Who could not use more of that? That is why this show is so beloved! It isn’t all about “ the dress” ! 👰‍♀️. It’s about how beautiful, loved, and valued one FEELS , while wearing that dream dress! Curvy women need that boost of confidence and encouragement in the form of honest compliments, expert guidance, and advice sometimes to have that magical ✨ , happy tears 🥹 🥲 moment , where they realize, “WOW”! I REALLY AM beautiful! I am stunning in this dress! And I am going to marry the man of my dreams in this dress! 👰‍♀️ ♥️ 🤵‍♂️. Or significant other, whichever the case may be. 🥰.

As a sewist myself, and without wedding dress experience, I would think that larger dress sizes are not significantly more expensive because, while they do take some extra fabric, the largest share of cost is the labor; and they do not take a significantly greater amount of time to make.

She's having a Turkish wedding... It's not all about the bride! There is also the groom who gladly invited his family and friends!
