Good Morning Paula, my amazing friends 💓.It's finally Friday guys😋. Phyllo dough is wonderful...I love baklava made out of this kind of dough. Now I have a hankering for baklava 😋😋. Ok I believe I'm headed to the store this morning to do some cooking .Love all you guys have a wonderful weekend ♥️🤗😘 Love you Paula 💓
My mother is a nurse in a nursing home and works the overnight shift. I was shocked to see that one of the recipes in this video was Goulash. I literally just made this dish today so she has some to take to work tonight. I absolutely love watching these videos.
@@justinejackson8643 A long time ago, I had such a recipe. You wouldn't believe how moist it was! Between the p.a and the oil, it was out of this world. It was a three layer cake with the creamiest cc frosting. Sooo good. But to each his own.
❤ that caramel cake with that icing! ❤ the phyllo shells with shrimp salad, & that goulash, too! My mom used to make it. But, she passed away when she was in her 40s. I may make this recipe. Thank you both! Happy birthday 🎂 Bobby! Y'all have a beautiful weekend. 💗
Thanks for posting these Paula! I’m 29 been watching you since I was a little girl with my brother, we used to LOVE your accent (we lived near Boston) lol
My how time flies! While watching this flashback it brought back so many memories, some good, some sad but it's left me with a longing for days gone by. I love watching all the shows you put out Paula. I have a little secret, I could NEVER cook fried chicken right or buttermilk biscuits right either!... Until I seen an episode you put out on fried chicken (the bottle of hot sauce ingredient) and the buttermilk biscuits that called for the dry active yeast in them. I decided to try it cuz I had said if it's the last thing on earth I'm gonna do is I'm gonna master both of those things! lol. AND you know what? I followed those 2 recipes and Wolah!!! I did it! Now, that's how I make them both and I get compliments galore, thanks Paula & if you would do those 2 recipes again, I'd love it. God bless.😇🤗
@@kimmalone802 ikr?! I've had alot of ppl say it tastes like Kentucky Fried Chicken and on the old show Paula did where I got this recipe from, she talks about how Mr. Sanders had came down to Georgia & ate that chicken at her grandma's restaurant & he had gotten that recipe & that's how he started his chicken business or something like that.🤔...i think. It's been a lonnng time since I seen that particular episode. Lol 😅
This is perfect! I’ve been craving shrimp salad.. will be delicious in lettuce cups or as wraps, too. Also, my favorite caramel cake recipe. Thanks, Paula! ☀️
D Hoosier basically the same as Bobby made Paula’s in the video, except for the phyllo cups. To use in lettuce wraps or lettuce cups, I will rough cut the shrimp .. so to have larger pieces. Basic ingredients: shrimp, onion, celery, parsley, salt/pepper, mayo & lemon juice. I use Romain lettuce for wraps; and butter lettuce for “cups” and for wraps, too. I put in Avocado and red onion, sometimes. 😊
This is apple crunch cake. My Irish Mama’s recipe. I’ve tried to get it to you several times.1/2 cup shortening, 2cups sugar, 2 eggs, 4 cups raw diced apple, 1 cup chopped pecans, 2 tsp soda, 1/2 tsp allspice 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 cups all purpose flour, cream sugar, shortening and eggs. Add apples, nuts and sifted dry ingredients. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees. Let cool and enjoy!
I’m sure I’m not the only person from the uk who watches your channel and I love your recipes but have to convert them all the weight rather than volume so it would be helpful if you gave that as well. Carol
Hello there Paula; This is Tim Williams and I'm just happy to see you do a recipe on Bobby's Ghoulash! Plus other recipes. Thank you and may God bless you. Tim Williams 😀
elbow pasta is elbow pasta , macaroni is macaroni ... nowadays people forgot what macaroni looks like and they are hard to find , in the 7O' 8O' they were really popular .... boohoo and I miss them

I hope I don’t sound like a crazy person, but you and your family comfort and inspire me like if I were watching home movies. I’m 59 years old, all my folks are from the south and I’m an empty nester now, with one child. All of my elders are with the Lord now, and how I cherish those warm and loving days of Mamaw’s and aunts kitchens I grew up with . God bless you and your boys, Paula - you truly my make my world a brighter place ❤️
All of it looks wonderful. Could you do a fish fry with hush puppies? I know nothing about cooking fish. The best fish I ever had(and generally I don’t eat fish) was at a little place on Tybee Island. It was across from the beach. My husband and I visited Savannah 10 or15 years ago.
1st of all I am a HUGE fan Miss Paula❤ Years ago I had one of your books but I lost it when my dad passed when we moved. I was wondering if sometime you could make your coconut pie? I used to make it for my dad and he absolutely loved it!! Hope you all are doing okay❤
Oooooo everything looks delightfully scrumptious❣️❣️❣️ HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOBBY! Going to try all 3 recipes for sure. Thank you so much Paula, always enjoy all your videos.❤️🥰😘
It's funny because I overheard my little sons playing today ( they are 5 and 8 ) and they were telling off their misbehaving "son" toy telling him "son, you can't do that son, it's not nice." We live in Scotland and I use their names or nicknames but never call them "son" so I was actually wondering where that that come from.
Good Morning Paula, I am so enjoying all these videos. Happy Birthday Bobby 🎈🎉 How about a cheesecake recipe. My hubby loves cheesecake!! Thank you for sharing !! Love yah Paula!! God Bless & Take care!!
Hi Paula and Bobby..love when you cook with your sons....so enjoyable to watch...and entertaining....love to you both..be safe even if this is an older vid...
Paula can you show a few dishes using potatoes with a protein source which are economical and/or pantry friendly? During these times it’s good to know an array of recipes to stretch the pantry and budget. Lots of love from Louisiana!!
My stomach never growled any harder watching one of your videos. Heck, yeah, I'm making this one!! And my request for a recipe video is for old fashioned tea cakes, please! Yum!
Love Paula and sons helping in kitchen. This was a lot of fun...it was always fun to wait for when your show came on and I ran to put it on. Never wanted to kiss it even if I had to record. Miss you Paula...,simply the best
Miss Paula you are such a great Momma. Happy Birthday Bobby, your Momma sure loves you and it shows. I have a son and he is the best person I know, we are lucky to have such great young men in this world.
Bobby: Are you having a party? Paula: No. Bobby: Am I having a party? Paula: No. DO YOU THINK HE’S THINKING 🤔 ‘MY MOMMA HAS FORGOTTEN MY BIRTHDAY??’ 😅😂🤣 Paula glossed over NO so cool.
Can you do Southern Style Lima beans with Ham Hocks. My mother used to make them but I don't remember what she did and I have been having a craving. I love your quarantine recipe videos, so many good foods.
Me too, I ate 2 Hostess Chocolate Cupcakes & even though I took my 1,000mg of Metformin & 4mg of Glimepiride & 1 Januvia I feel slightly sick to my stomach.
Hey sweet Paula and Bobby♡♡♡ What A Beautiful Birthday Dinner☆♡☆♡☆♡☆ I want to fix this when I get the time♡♡♡ Everything Looks So Delicious ♡♡♡ I can almost taste it♡♡♡ Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday Dear Bobby. Happy Birthday to you☆♡☆♡☆♡☆ And many more♡♡♡ GOD BLESS EVERYONE ♡♡♡ We Love y'all so very much ♡♡♡
Paula, I think I know why your Momma's carmel frosting isn't fluffy. Heat brown sugar and butter to rolling boil stirring constantly with wooden spoon. Remove from heat, pour in the glass bowl of stand mixer. Allow to come to room temp. Whip the brown sugar and butter mixture to airate. Then add heavy whipping cream and whip until light and fluffy.
I remember this episode. Paula I wish you would answer some of your comments just a few , PLEASE !!! P.S. Bobby birthday was actually April 20th and he was the big 50 . HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BOBBY DEEN
Hi Paula 🤗 I'm getting ready to prepare BABY JACK'S CARROT CAKE. I THINK YOUR VIEWERS WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU BAKE IT. It's my favorite PAULA'S RECIPE 🤗.
Paula...Paula...Paula....my mouth is watering for that caramel cake!!!☺ Looks like I need to run to the market. Thank you!! Love watching the shows from the past!!❤
Several recipes, I would love to see you make, are Shrimp and Oyster Poor Boys (New Orleans cookin), Blueberry Dumplings, and Bacon and Spinach Quiche (Davenport Garden). All these recipes, I have written, when I first began watching. Never get tired of watching, listening and learning from the Queen of Southern Cooking! Love ya Paula
Love this surprising your son is so much fun! And I just love goulash yummy! Have you ever made a homemade banana cake with pudding frosting? Or have you made goldenrod eggs over biscuits or toast? Love your shows
Hey Ms. Paula …I want to thank you for all your recipes. I’ve enjoyed watching your videos for many years..I must admit I’ve absolutely adored your beautiful measuring spoons and cups for years. Last week I told my husband he was taking me out for a date night, when he asked where I told him to Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen in Foley. Much to my Surprise as soon as I walked into your store there sat your beautiful measuring spoons and cups. My wonderful husband brought them home for my Christmas present and I absolutely love love love them sitting next to my stove and I’m looking forward to seeing you in April. Love and many dishes
Was never a fan of Goulash, but this looks so good, I'll have to try it. and the Caramel cake- yum! I would love to see how to make CORNED BEEF HASH. Mine not very good. Also, HUSH PUPPIES! Love you, Paula!
Happy birthday 🎊 So much happed since this video was made. You got married, had those beautiful babies and still going strong. Know mamma is proud of you, but here comes that million dollar question. Did you manage to make goulash? 😆🤣😆🤣💐
Today was my first time seeing this goulash Recipe ,I made it tonight and it was a huge success ........my son has just now started on his fourth bowl😍 It wasExcellent!!!!! Thank you again Pauladeen you are truly one in 1 million you are God sent ❤️an angel sent from cooking heaven ! God bless you the only think that would of made this remotely better is if my children would have been blessed to have you as a grandparent 😊 my children are mixed and totally missed out on the family joys besides me and them 😳 lol I do the best I can . But I wasn’t you to know how loved you are 💜
I have a request. I am land locked, surrounded by desert, but I LOVE seafood. I found that one store sells pint sized containers of lump crab meat from the Gulf. Since the crab meat is so expensive (over $20) I would love a really good recipe for using the crab meat. I don't care for crab cakes because I couldn't taste the crab in any of the ones I have had in the past. Do you have any guaranteed good recipes for the containers of lump crab that you could share? I would really appreciate it.
I’m 68 and would you believe I have never made a 3 layer cake. Normally it is a 9x13 or a bunt cake. Oh my gosh that cake looks delicious, I wished I had some one to share it with! I might just make it.
How about some good old fashioned baked Macaroni and Cheese. My dad made this with bacon and put green pepper circles with tomato slices in the middle. So I would like to see your version. Thank you so much.
I followed recipe exactly as written except substituting Worcester for soy ( which you said you do sometimes) Delicious! I garnished mine with cottage cheese, which put it over the top!
Sadly, this wonderful video and beautiful countryside are all smoggy, the land and people are being thoroughly dusted by geoengineering (poisoning chemtrails) that harm all it touches. That is not fog contaminating the pictures. The streaks of chemicals are completely visible in the sky in several shots.
Miss Paula my mama used to make salmon patties and I know she used canned salmon I'm there I don't know could you help out? Also whenever we had to do she used to make what she called Cloverleaf rolls which like three little balls in each spot in the pan. If I don't know what her recipe was she never wrote things down and she always just had her recipes in her head. So I'm hoping you have a good dinner roll recipe for me. Blessings and much love
I love you both in the kitchen cooking so much fun can you make a raisin pie my mother used to in fla but she passed away last year plus I have been in isolation since march 13 and craving raisin pie lots of recipes on line but dont think like moms love to see yours thank you
