I love Paula! I quit watching the food network when they dismissed her. These recipes look yummy! But I’ve got a question: why use butter AND Crisco? How does the combo make a difference than it would to use all butter? Thank you, Paula. You look lovely and healthy!

I make a lace cookie but it calls for Orange zest and it is delicious indeed. I can't use the recipe for the filling, because that Crisco is way too much fat and plus we don't like that taste.

When I moved to the USA I start watching her show to learn about the cooking , Georgia's culture and their accent...I was fascinated, I still remember her first show! I learn so much from her, I now visit GA as much as possible especially beautiful Savannah, GA. Thank you Paula!! :))

She called someone a name ,we've all done it,shes not a saint,but a cook,I forgive her like jesus told us to do,love one another,she said sorry,so whatever,the woman she said it to probably did something too,not just paula,they should say sorry,go there ways,and I'm sure Paula gave her some money,which is why I think she got mad at her in the first place,money causes problems,she helped her cook ,and got paid for her job,did Paula makes promises,she didn't keep?maybe,again it's her bussiness,not the ladys,paula got money now everyone wants there cut.price of being famouse,poor paula.

Those Magnolia Lace Trumpet cookies are one of my all-time favorite dessert type recipes, I've ever tried. Besides family recipes of course. Haha. You know, you have to be loyal to those family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. But the frosting in the trumpet cookies... Ugh!!! SO amazing!!! I remember making these after 1st seeing this show air and I didn't have a sil pad or a cone mold. I had tin foil. Lol OMG was that a mess. BUT! My sister had her friends over. We finished up the leftover cream filling and broken cookies. It ended up being a lot of fun. Frustrating, but a lot of fun regardless.
