Bobby said it perfectly, “I think what makes it good is that it comes from your Mama.” Mother’s ALWAYS cook with love!!!❤️❤️❤️ This show, Positively Paula was produced very well. Love the intro and that it includes her talented sons. Thank you for sharing these. Love and best dishes Paula. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I can make dishes that I loved as a child and grown-up that my mother made, even when she was here at my house watching a I made her cornbread dressing or anything else. Most I can get it very close to hers, but never just like hers, I truly believe it was just the live in her hands that she imparted to her food. 💖 my kids can tell me it taste like their nana's... but not to me. When she was ill and death imminent, I told her her family was preparing a big banquet for her. I also told her when it is my time, I want her to make her special bbq chicken and her baked macaroni and cheese. ❤
I loved my mother's fried chicken, pork chops dipped in egg then cracker crumbs and her potato salad. My mother's family used to have reunions all the time. My cousin always requested her potato salad. She made amazing cakes and I learned to bake from my mother. My mother was an amazing cook. I miss her so much. I really enjoy your all your videos. You are amazing, Paula.
I gotta say watching you two just made my day as family is everything! The interactions, laughter, kidding around and just having fun together is a recipe in itself. Bobby's favorite dish looks so darn good I'm gonna give it a try! Ty Paula and Bobby for everything. 😊
Love watching these shows. Goulash was something my mother in law loved. Bless her she wasn’t the best cook because her mother lived with her and did all the cooking so she didn’t start cooking til she was in her 50s after her mother died. She had about 4 meals she cooked and goulash was one of them. This makes me want to cook a big pot.
I'm so glad I found this on utube. I was so upset when you were not on TV any more. I cook from your cookbooks all the time. I stoped watching food network because of what happened. I love your food, it is so down home eating. I'm going to watch it more often.
I just made this 3 days ago! It really is just right!! The only difference is that I did not put the chicken in it. It was so yummy! My husband & I love your cooking and we love going to your restaurants & meeting you here & there! God bless!
Have always watched You Ms. Paula Deen from the very beginning of you with Gordon Elliott‼️🤗 Love You, Your Cooking Shows and Everything and Everyone Else 😉❤️ God Bless You and Your Precious Family Paula 🤗❤️😁

This looks amazing... similar to my mommas recipe only we add the green peppers and corn to it. Recently i even added a pouch of street taco seasoning mix to ours..oohhh it was amazing 😊😊
I cook recipes that my mom used to do. Even when she was right there, and even though I followed her to the t, I feel I'm just never tasted like hers. My mom's and my grandma were great cooks. Even having their recipes, there are some things that will never turn out like there. It's just their love of cooking.
My favorite meal was my Daddy's Sunday Pot Roast. I tried for years to duplicate this, then one day he finally told me his secret before he passed😢.....it was Venison! ❤ that is why mine never tasted like his. It was always so tender because he fixed it in a pressure cooker.
My daddy's "Fried Chicken with Wilted lettuce". The leftover grease and chicken crispies in the pan he would make a gravy and put it over super cold iceberg lettuce and add back some pieces of fried chicken breast and it was so good. I'm a daddy's girl and he was my Hero🙏🏼🌹💝🦋🐞 I miss both of my parents. But daddy could cook his butt off 💚 Can you show us your meatball recipe sometime please Ma'am? 🩷 Thank Y❤️U

My grandma made a dish of potatoes, fresh green beans & smoked ham that I loved. But my attempts to make it don't measure up. I'm always disappointed by mine. Don't know what it's lacking but she's not here anymore to ask😢
