Dr Francis got them Whitlows together hunny 😂😂 I’ve watched this episode a few times and I am tickled.. they came on the show judging the other couples and now they can’t take it from a LICENSED therapist.. too funny.. P.S. OWN please give Dr Francis a show. Love him ❤

@@e.l.c.4298 I'd come for his credentials too. Watching him allow the other two couples to chime in, with their antagonistic comments. From the very beginning, he did not create nor maintain an environment where the Whitlows felt safe or supported. If he, which he did, missed or overlooked the get-back spirit of the Scott couples comments towards the Whitlows that's a problem. I'm not even trying to evaluate their relationship cause the setup was not conducive to building trust; which is required for a professional to be accepted into a relationship of any type. Tiffany was being defensive and it was a natural response in that made for tv counseling.

Martell's mom is so used to struggling with a 2 parent role that the idea of her son actually being a husband and Melody only doing half of the work that she may have done is a problem. An active husband is not a man who is being taken advantage of mama 😭

I agree!! Melody does sooo much, and had all 4 of his kids. So he should wait on her hand and foot!! Its sad because the world wants us to everything and on top of that, we don't get no sympathy from other black women in America. We have been taught to be work horses, mules, and mammys. I don't think she was jealous. I think it is generational. I have heard women around her age who are married say that younger women are lazy in the house. I think they were taught to believe that it was a woman place to work that hard.

@@frankwright1571 I disagree. She clarified that Mel wasn't lazy around the house, just being lazy in those moments. I think it was more of her experiencing motherhood and not having anyone there for her and having to do everything on her own. So when she sees her son who just got off of work waiting on his wife she was triggered because she had to work and take care of her child alone. When you don't have support from your partner, parenting is HARD.

And just like my former mother-in-law is regarding my ex, Martell's mother is an enabler and part of why Martell is who he is besides any other childhood traumas he experienced. I love me some Mel!!!!! So having multiple children, being a homemaker and uplifting your husband and his dreams was being lazy? Mel doesn't have a lazy bone in her body. His mother is a jealous mother that is mad she NEVER had a man to support her and when she saw her son/husband support this wife in that way it made her feel some kind of way. kikmme and maurice when tisha and marsau discuss the deceased friend: kimmie looks like she is actively trying to bite her tongue because she knows they are bending the truth. Maurice: is looking like wait, who died? I know you're not talking about just finding out about sis that passed away months ago, you knew". He looks like he is processing all of that. In his head. I believe they used her death to avoid Dr. Francis assessing them like he did the whitlows. I literally commented on maurice's IG post MONTHS AGO when she passed away and maurice put a heart on the comment. now the social media posts about her passing away are gone. I am alleging that They used her death as a human shield against exposure. Tisha was most likely sad because marsau let her have it for misleading him into therapy he expressed he did not want. They needed to create a diversion and it appears it was the deceased friend. NONE OF THAT EXCHANGE BETWEEN TISHA AND MARSAU WAS GIVING MY BEST FRIEND FROM COLLEGE PASSED AWAY.

Maybe it’s the editing, but I find it convenient that both pair of Scotts get a separate session (whether it was impromptu or not) and the Whitlows were expected to open up (and attacked in my opinion) during group. Mel is better than me, because I would have kept Marlene blocked 😂 And of course we have Kimmie and Destiny being messy and trying to carry a bone.

It looked like a hostile environment for the Whitlows rather than friends supporting each other. The Scotts couples seemed to focus on getting back at them for questioning Marsau’s marriage LAST season.

@@sharonpope1737 The phone call really was nothing. She'd told Louis about the call when they were discussing going to the retreat and the session hadn't begun. The call was not in the middle of the session and didn't interrupt anything. Unlike the Scotts late arrival. I believe Dr. Francis assignment was to focus on the Whitlows, which disappoints me. And I'm not minimizing commitment, yet I do think Dr. Francis being disingenuous about the call setup the Whitlows defensive attitude the rest of the retreat.

Disgusting 🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮 I wouldn't want that example around children, but Melody is being the bigger person un blocking her & allowing Martell's mother around her children.
