It’s for selfish reasons. They want to be around their children everyday. You can’t be around your kids everyday if you’re in separate homes. They aren’t thinking about the kids at all.

You just stated that females from the South place more value on a committed marriage than other states or countries and everyone else is exempt and don't have these values as well? I think she will have a lifetime of suitors, but no marriage for Mel until she completes her mission of accomplishment. Marriage is the last thing on her mind for her she will be busy working with very little time to nurture a relationship anytime soon and discover that she is better off on her own.
