I think that maybe the palette didn’t work with the new technique Tati was using, and that’s fine. Different products require different techniques, and they work differently on you depending on skintone, texture, age, etc... sometimes reviewers need to put that disclaimer in at the beginning of their videos.
She probably pre record this video but I’m sure she won’t say anything bad about Tati just because Emily is such a lady and a sweetheart, she is not about drama. Love Emily

Emily is such a lady. I think the best way to address the issue is to let the product speak for itself, as did Kiki in her video as well as the many who have use it and recommend it.
You are so right, Emily is one of the sweetest and most honest people!! This woman would not say anything negative about anyone and she supports others, and their may be brands Emily chooses not to review, but she would never and never has come out and dragged them, I am disgusted when I see wonderful people attacked for no good reason, the bullying needs to just stop already. Tati completely and utterly failed me yesterday, I honestly cried.
What Tati did was unfair. I agree with giving an honest opinion as long as you give it to EVERYBODY! She gave nicer reviews to bad products just because her friend's name was on it. Plus the thumbnail was way out of line! She needs to take it easy and maybe stop uploading so many videos for a while and truly test products. First impressions are an easy way to get away with a video! I usually love Tati but uh uh Emily to me is untouchable!

EMILY!! I finally recieved my Needs pallets today! I was walking my dog and got a notification from UPS it was delivered! You shouldve seen me sprint home so fast my dog could barely keep up 😂 And as expected, I LOVE IT! I even tried a beautiful monochromatic look with the blush Joy on my lids, cheeks, and clear lip balm on my lips with Joy patted on top with my fingers! Ugh I just love it so much and love you!!! I just started a gratitude journal this week, and the first thing I was grateful for is your positivity in a world which is often so negative. I saw a kangaroo hopping across the park behind my house on Monday morning, which was the day I started the journal, so you joined him in my first day! And to your question, yes please, I love how you built up a whole face using your "favourites", so I'd like to see you do the same again. It makes lots of sense to me, showing how you use the products together, apply them, and a finished look. One thing I really enjoy is watching that sparkle in your eye when you apply certain products to your face and you just love how it looked. That real sparkle and "oh gosh that looks so good" is so evident and real. Love it!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this look!!!!! It is so fresh and pretty!! It is a really great look for everyday. The dark multi rich colored looks are just too much when you are older and looks out of place with everyday casual clothes, this looks so youthful and pretty ! It doesn't take a lot to do it either which is GREAT!

I can’t remember if you have mentioned this or not but have you watched Gilmore Girls??? It’s one of my favorite and then I love how After the series ends. Netflix did a four episode where is their life after it’s so amazing!
I love Emily's independence from other youtubers. She doesn't need to gaggle with bigger youtubers to be validated. I love that she's doing all this on her own with integrity and never drama. Just so you know, I've unsubscribed from Tati. Her true colors are showing and I don't like it. I'd rather support a genuine person like Emily than a fake woman like Tati who pretends to be nice and sweet when she isn't at all. And it makes sense as to why she gets along with Jefree Star and why she would defend him. I am not going to justify Tati's actions with an excuse of she seemed off or she had a biased opinion about Makeup Revolution. Tati is a grown woman, she knows exactly what she is doing.
i read another comment on a different vid saying how tati puts up a front of being a nice person but is actually not. i unsubbed her a long time ago because of her rubbing elbows with jef star, who i also don't support, and her blatantly disregarding and brushing off the opinions and concerns of her poc subscribers. this is just another reason for people to sub to people with integrity instead of all the drama and huge channels that are based around the la area. but i know people love drama because this sort of thing doesn't happen in our every day lives
soooo you unsubscribed cuz shhe didnt like the few shades she tried it was a makeup review and she doesn't deserve the comments she is getting. and having tried a few shades in this palette from a friend im inclined to agree with tati just because i love emily doesnt mean i have to love her palette. not everything works for everybody that is why there is so much makeup in the world

Danielle Bailey you know, I wasn't going to buy the palettes. I swatched it at my ulta which btw, isn't sold out of Emily's palettes, but it wasn't for me. After Tatis nasty review, I'm thinking I would buy them and gift it to a niece. We all see what we want to see in this world and in people. Some of us are mature enough to understand that at Tatis age, she knows better and she has been a youtuber long enough to know better about how to do a review. Tatis behavior would be acceptable from a new youtuber and a much younger than her. I think Tati is betting on her young viewers inability to see through her. If Tati had it out for makeup revolution she shouldn't have done a review on Emily's palettes, pick any other makeup revolution palette. There were plenty to choose from. Allura Beauty did a very short, mature and to the point review on Emily's palettes. You should watch how she did the review without making Emily's palettes look purposefully horrible. And Allura beauty is actually younger than Tati. I think Tati was and is jealous of the love and respect that Emily has been receiving. It had nothing to do with Emily's palettes, it has everything to do with Tatis behavior, insecurities and who knows maybe she wanted the attention, even if it is negative. That is what Tati has shown me this far. It makes me question all the other negative reviews she's done. I didn't unsubscribe over eye shadows, I unsubscribed for Tatis behavior. I don't support that sort of behavior from a very grown woman. And she is still manipulating the situation to make herself the victim. Tati has issues beyond just a makeup review.
You are such a breath of fresh air in the beauty community, I love watching your videos before going to bed as way to relax! My boyfriend actually told me yesterday that he had never seen me follow a makeup release so closely before your palettes came out! And that's true, because I knew anything you created would be amazing. I own The Wants palette and I get so much excitement just by looking at it and swatching colors together to see how they look. It doesn’t change the fact that thumbnail was nasty. Tati is here for years, she knew what she was doing. Moreover, it’s vicious after her video where she complained that beauty community didn’t support her with vitamins launch, especially given that she’s a woman(that was one of her arguments). Yet tati is ok bashing another woman, smaller channel. I found Emily long after I subscribed to tati and latter was one of my absolute favorites. But that video left me with a bitter taste.
I have to tell you Emily, you're a joy to watch. I love my palettes. I've been using colors I never tried before, my husband remarked how pretty I looked when I picked him from the mechanic!! I don't care what anyone says, the palettes are great and easy to blend and if I can do it and blend it well then anyone can. I'm no professional. Great job Emily!

I wear glasses and find it really difficult to apply makeup without either a massive magnifying mirror or a "squint and hope" approach. Any tips Emily x x
Jan Rayer I have this problem too and found that I had to invest in a good 5 X magnification mirror with a light. This works so well for me that I also bought a smaller travel version for vacations. When I see these lovely ladies peering into tiny palette mirrors, I am so jealous!!
Jan Rayer I’m in the same boat. I have a magnifying mirror installed in my bathroom and periodically have to put on my glasses to see which eyeshadow I’m dipping into or how my look is coming along. I just pray it looks to others like it does to me 😆😂

I come to your channel because of how genuinely sweet, kind, and positive you are. You have been that place for me for years now. Ok, onto tv shows...now I have never watched Dawson’s Creek, but you’re going to be sad when a show ends and you’re going to need something happy and funny to get you out of that funk. Watch the Office if you haven’t seen it, heck, watch it if you have! I literally watch it everyday, my fiancé and I will watch through all nine seasons and go back to the first episode and start again. We can recite the episodes in our sleep. When I go to the nursing home as a very old woman, “play the Office from the time Angela wakes up until she goes to bed” will be in my care plan. The theme song had better be played at my funeral. To say I’m obsessed with the show is a bit of an understatement 😂. Whatever you decide to watch, I hope you love it as much as I love the Office, because we all deserve a show like that!
"Pardon my buck foot". Lol. I actually like that kind of applicator in a foundation. I'm the only one using and I find it quick and easy. Plus I don't have to go wash foundation off my hands immediately like I do with a pump.
