I feel this brand is sooo slept on! I just recently switched to toxic free and talc free makeup and bought so many of their products and I was actually shocked! I love it so much and the packaging is luxurious
Please do more Jane iredale videos. I got some of the products because you recommended them and wow, powder foundation is way better the The foundation from cle de peau and Chanel and other high end foundations. I am so in love. I would love to see all the blushes swatches or your review of the powder blush shades.
I bought the eyeshadow after you recommended it before and love it. It is perfect for my very sensitive eyes and stays put throughout the work day. Thank you!
Thank you for turning me onto this brand, Lisa. I have an appt at the Blue Mercury Jane Iredale event in Austin today and am so excited to try some of these products on! We have similar coloring so your shade recommendations will be so helpful. Your makeup look in the video is stunning. 😗
Thanks for this video. I've seen this product and now I'll give it a try. Have you ever done a video on what colors to use for different skin tones.? Thanks again😊
I love her powder foundations. I use both the pressed and the loose; depends on the look I am going for. The loose is more luminous so that is my jam when I am going for the more dewy look. Her sunbeam bronzer is one of my absolutely favorites and it is more of a blush/bronzer so it is dual purpose; but I use it as a blush; I do not get the bronzer concept since the sun hits the top of your cheeks so that is where I put it. 😉Been using JI for almost 30 years. Love it!
Great video! I have the mineral foundation, just ordered the serum and primer, thanks for reccomendation! Question: where would I incorporate my sunscreen when using these two new products?
Hi Lisa, love that you’re featuring JI again. I have been using her line on and off for 20 years!! The lash primer is my absolute favourite and have been using it for decades. Need to look into the blushes, as I too love cream blushes (especially Westman 😉). But question - what bronzer are you using?? Thanks Lisa and I just ordered more of your brushes!! 😅😘
I chose your BK 105 Large Buffer the same day I ordered the Jane Iredale Skincare Makeup System Discovery Set. It’s a lovely soft brush, so I hope it will be a good choice for the powder foundation. My previous favorite powder foundation was by Clinique.
i love jane’s hydropure serum too, a little goes a long way and i have acne prone skin but it’s so light and doesn’t cause me to break out. $58 but i just use my fingers to apply. their gold highlight stick is so shiny too and buttery. their lip liners feel so clean too. if you want the clean girl makeup aesthetic i recommend this brand. i’ve gotten my mom and my sister in law hooked on the serum too.
Hi Lisa, I really enjoyed this video - not too long at all!! There isn’t a retailer where I live that sells JI products so I would need to purchase online- what is your best tip on trying to determine a powder foundation shade online?
I’d be interested on your thoughts on Jane Iredale’s stick blushers and bronzers. I bought the Mist and Enchanted blush sticks - I thought they were a bit sparkly for me - I’m 62 and felt a bit odd wearing them. They went to a very grateful daughter! But I am going to get the Fervor blusher and Sizzle bronzer. I found the Blush sticks worked really well on the powder foundation.
I just purchased the powder foundation, primer and setting spray. I haven’t used it yet, but I hope it looks as good on me as it does on you. I am older than you so hopefully it will work! Thank you for reviewing this. I also like the lip look and blush.
Lisa I would really appreciate seen a video of you applying the hydrogen from Jane iredale that you like so well and also what do you apply it with? What shade do you use? Thank you
The blush is half price on 3/28 at Ulta! Also, if you haven’t tried neuBrow in the new packaging I highly recommend! The serum is on a mascara wand and has made a huge difference for my mid-fifty brows.
I love Jane Iredale products for my mature skin of 48! When do I apply the tinted hydropure serum? after I applied the primer and before the foundation powder I suppose? right Lisa? thank you for the advice x
I like the eyeliner also. You know you can insert the brush handle into the screw off container top to make the brush longer if needed. This is shown in the video on JI website for the liner. Have a wonderful day!
Love Jane Iredale products. I have most of them you mentioned in your video. However I was not a fan of their concealer. Not enough coverage for me. There is a new one from her line I have been wanting to try though.
UPDATE! I received the rest of my mini-haul of Jane Iredale goodies and tried them with the discovery kit, and omg, I almost look like I know what I'm doing with makeup!! lol...It's all really easy to use. I also got one of the 3-pan shadows in "Harmony" and the colors are beautiful together (think cream, gray-green, and a mossy-green..."chef's kiss"! Thanks for the re-intro to this brand, Lisa! I’m loving my discovery kit (primer, foundation, spray) so much that I went online to order a few things. Right now, if you purchase $100 or more, you get a free powder blush (only 3 of the blush colors are part of the choices, though, but Barely Rose is one of them! )🌹
Three brands I love are Mineral Fusion, SignatureMinerals, and Florence by Mills. But I have dry skin so these may not work on those with more oils in their skin.
I have an idea for a video that I have NEVER seen before. What about if you are bald (chemo, alopecia, etc.) . How does this change colors, how mu is applies., what foundation on the forehead - where does it stop , i feel so washed out but I am 75 so I don't want to ramp it up too much. I have green and like purple/pink eye shadow with very light touch. Does this sound like a video to you? I have a wig that I wear rarely wear esp. in the summer. I love your videos. Covet your hair !!
Hi Lisa-I've been wanting to try to pressed foundation but have no idea what color to order? I wear Ivory in the Clinique serum foundation.....any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance!
Lisa, I am glad you are getting into Jane Iredale. I use this brand and a couple of others like it. A couple of years ago you did a video with a colleague who used Jane Iredale products exclusively on you. I was so hopeful that you would revisit Jane Iredale. I love your techniques and use BK brushes but stay far away from the more popular department store brands that you use, to my way of thinking, include "questionable" ingredients.
Thank you for sharing Carol. Jane Iredale has wonderful products. I will continue to share all the ones I have been enjoying. I'm grateful for your support and appreciate you taking the time to watch my channel. Have a lovely day.
Hi! Here are the brush numbers used in the video: BK Beauty 104 - Foundation, BK Beauty A506 - Concealer, BK Beauty 110 - Set under the eyes, BK Beauty 112 - Blush. Brushes used on eyes; BK Beauty A504, 209, 210 and 211.
Which blush do you like better Personna or JI. I missed out on Persona because even though they were in my cart and I logged in on my app as soon as the items went on sale I missed out. Ulta’s website crashed. At first it didn’t look like it crashed but the payments weren’t submitting. They had realized it earlier Sat evening but didn’t take the site down until around 2:30. They’ve given me a 50% off coupon to use when the blushes are back in stock. If these JI are better I may use the coupon on something else. Note to anyone who calls up CS and complains of same thing. They could verify what I was telling them as far as trying to pay for it. I hit submit and nothing happened. I tried ulta card, bank account and PayPal. When the site finally showed an error message and then the app crashed I figured out Ulta was the one having the problem.
I don’t know if it helps, but I’m 54 and it works so well on my aging skin. I do use all 3 the primer, powder foundation and the setting spray and my skin looks so natural and feels great! It also lasts on me which seems to be harder as I age as well.
I wear it and I’m 62. I do have some texture on my very dry skin but as I use an oil and heavy moisturiser (I use Paula’s Choice) then use the primer and Pommist it works really well for me. Lasts all day, and removes easily at night. I also add a sweep of glass stick on my cheeks for a glow, and small amount of highlighter on my chin, tip of my nose and forehead. Gives a dewy look. Hope this helps
I just wanted to say I have huge pores , melasma and redness and this foundation is fantastic on me. Covers well and looks flawless and I am in my 50;s. I use the shades Golden Glow or Warm Sienna as the golden (yellow) undertone conceals redness.Getting the Pommist Setting Spray is a must though to make it set really well.
Hi Lisa! I love all of your videos and I’ve been watching for many years. We are around the same age and I appreciate the way you speak your positivity and your knowledge. I just want to say though that whoever is editing your videos needs to relax on the endless cuts. It is driving me nuts and I could tell it’s probably someone super young and trying to mimic TikTok. It’s OK to have a few breaths in between sentences we don’t need endless cuts so it looks very snazzy and annoying. This is just some helpful criticism that hopefully they can relax on the editing and just let us enjoy the video and make it more calming and enjoyable. Thank you for everything you do!
