I'd love to see you review the brand Elate cosmetics. It's a natural brand with a mission to focus on sustainability as well. The packaging is made of bamboo, or seed paper that can be planted. They also aim to keep things affordable. It's Canadian too :) I love their lipstick!
@@SukanyaKumar it's not drug store prices but it's cheaper than anything I have found with comparable ingredients and the reusable packaging. You can also refill the products at some zero waste stores. Works out cheaper in the long run.
Jamie your videos are always on point ! Thanks for this amazing content. You should definitely try out the highlighter from the brand « RMS Beauty », I believe you already know their concealer so I am sure you would love it! xxx from France
THANKYOU for the marc jacobs bronzer dupe by rimmel! I immediately went out to buy it and have been using it every day! even works amazing on top of just moisturizer! makes you look healthy and bronzed and everyone always asks me if I went to the beach because my skin looks so good! all thanks to the amazing jamie paige
I think Jamie already did a video on josie maran vibrancy foundation and if I'm not wrong, she liked it. I don't remember her trying the concealer though
i don't care as much about clean makeup but girl i can't LIVE without clean skincare. my skin breaks out for anything, so it only stopped once i switched to clean skincare. A BLESSING
@@0002-d9j i care, but i'm not religious about it as i am with skincare. skincare i use everyday as a treatment, makeup is just for fun and definitely not an everyday thing
@@baileymcbride18 i use a brazilian brand (since i'm brazilian) called Granado. sometimes they sell internationally, so if you can find them, they're so so so good for clean skincare. i also use some Simple stuff that i love, specially the light moisturizer (i have really oily skin). for face masks i do mostly clay and i combine every step i take with essential oils, specially tea tree. it's some serious witchcraft process hahhaaha
Idk who needs to hear this, but cannabis sativa seed oil is just hemp oil. It's not "weed" or cbd. It's just branding being used by tons of skincare and makeup companies to ride on the coattails of the legal weed hype.
stacey thompson they did recently release an oil w CBD though it's called the Emerald CBD + adaptogens deep moisture glow oil For those people buying online make sure you read carefully since both products start w Emerald and are a green color it can be confusing
I appreciate you making an effort to focus specifically on this category of products. There are a lot of misconceptions and agendas out there when it comes to product formulation. It pays to be open minded but also know that all naturally derived ingredients are not without side effects or irritation. I think you did a good job reviewing these.
love this! glad you talked about what "qualifies" as clean beauty as there's so much greenwashing that goes on with this type of marketing. my favourite green beauty brand is Au Naturale! They are so slept on!
When you exchange the farmacy skin mist, please let us know what the spray is like! I bought it a few years ago and found it sprayed really wet and “chunky” - I wonder if they updated how fine the mist releases now!
This is by far my favorite video of yours. I love all the product recommendations. Kjaer weis is my all time favourite clean, green and organic brand. True luxe, honestly, and u never overpay bc the packaging is all refillable and ecofriendly.
I'm so undecided about the cover fx duo bronzer too! Picked it up during the sale and considering returning it. I wanted it to work so bad because the idea is genius but there's something about the shade that doesn't look right. And it's so pigmented so I find it trickier to apply; did get a bit patchy too.
Clean beauty actually helps me a lot. It is not about natural or not. It is all about if they contains those horrible chemicals or not. I could not use any big brand skincare or cosmetics because my skin reacts so bad to them. I am totally fine with all the skin beauty products.
I actually love the skin especially the bronzer tone, and the pink blush combined with the bronze one from Antonim looks so nice, reminds me of a sun burn and I love the look
So glad you’re doing a video like this! I’m trying to be more mindful of ingredients!! And you’re right the clean at Sephora stamp leant mean it has 100 percent perfect ingredients, everyone should do their own research to see what ingredients they’re comfortable with!
Yes I've been waiting for this video! Your makeup looks great. I thought the bronzer looked fine on you and didn't make your face look dirty on camera. I just bought the Bite outburst longwear lip stain so I'm excited to try it!
I’ve just started documenting my switch the clean beauty! I’m excited that there are some mainstream brands that are cleaner so it makes it a little easier to make the switch as a girl who loves a full face glam!
I feel like I never give clean beauty products a fair shot because I feel like they aren’t going to work as well but these products and that foundation on your face looks so amazing! My favorite clean beauty product is the honey potion antioxidant mask from Farmacy! It’s the best mask I’ve ever tried❤️❤️❤️❤️Love you!
Yes!! Thank you so much for shedding a little light on this HUGE problem. Please keep making clean beauty videos with full clean brands like RMS, Ilia, Vapour & 100% Pure and some of the affordable stuff from target like W3ll People, Honest co & Zuzu. Influenser’s have the platform to make a dent in this issue by informing the consumer so thank you!!
Yessss!! Love herbivore! That emerald oil is my go to moisture boost and is amazing under my foundations (but only apply a little). The pink cloud moisturizer is amazing too!! The Josie Moran vibrancy palette was such a let down for me
Jenn Esposto what kind of skin do you have? I was thinking of picking it up but I have very combo skin, oily in the forehead and dry everywhere else...
Bailey McBride I have dry skin. The oil will likely be too oily for your forehead. I find I only need the littlest amount (especially under my foundation) but on your dry areas a few drops will be ok I think. The pink cloud moisturizer is light weight but beautiful though if your considering that you will be good.
That Josie Marian matchmaker foundation is amazing! I have been using it for years and it continually stays on my vanity. I live in Ottawa and I love it for harsh winter days. Loved the video Jamie!
The Ilia mascara is life. It doesn't smudge but it's definitely not water resistant...totally worth it though! Ilia's multi sticks are also amazing, especially Lady Bird and At Last but there are a ton of shades. Jane Iredale's Triple Luxe lipsticks are also worth looking into, but the Kosas lipstick formula is probably even more amazing!
I love Edible Beauty. They are a clean beauty brand out of Australia. They started being sold at Sephora a while back. They have some great serums and oils. I love the Exotic Seed of Youth anti-aging oil that is NOT sold on the Sephora website. It's only available on their website but it's so good. They do have Snowflower Illuminating Oil on Sephora, and of course, I have that too. I use their facial mist every single day and their Exotic Goddess Ageless Serum is super hydrating and perfection under makeup!
I was going to recommend Kjaer Weis too! It's the Tom Ford of clean beauty I hear! I think you would love her creme foundation, such a pretty buildable skin finish ❤
So glad I found this video. Was actually looking at a few of these products so good to know how they work. And good to know more about Sephora’s clean means.
I only wear clean skincare and makeup! Like you had mentioned, the term 'clean' can mean different things to different people. A product can be 'clean' but I might still not like the ingredients. I love that it's something that is trending in larger retailers though, gets the ball rolling for sure! Not sure if these sites are available in Canada, but I love shopping on Detox Market, Credo Beauty, 100% Pure, Primarily Pure, and a few more sites I can't remember at the moment. Ulta has some new good clean brands such as Juice Beauty too!
I loved this❤️loved how everything turned out. That pink blush after blended out looked stunning and really pulled the look together after being blended out with that other blush. That’s what I do too, I’ll play with a crazy bold blush and blend it out with a more toned down glowing blush. I loved everything!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This looks amazing on you! I’m REALLY intrigued by the Ilia cheek products. Their multi-sticks, illuminator and color haze multi-use pigments all look beautiful. Also, the Josie Maran argan moonstone glow highlighting stick looks soooo nice. Btw, I have the Farmacy mist and the atomizer nozzle on mine works really well. Bummer that yours came broken.
Great video! A tip for using foundations like the josie Marin one, is rubbing the foundation in your hands to break those color beads then apply to the face!
I’d LOVE to see a full face of rms beauty. It’s such a cool brand and I feel like their products are supposed to work really well together but I’ve never seen anyone do a full face.
Ok! You seriously have to try erborian cc cream!! It’s also one of those face matching “foundations” it’s creamy and it doesn’t have the exfoliating feeling... buts gives good coverage and evens out skin tone... I have oily skin so I use it on dryer days... but for you it might be perfect! Great everyday natural look!
I love the Josie Maran adapting serum/foundation. I used up a bottle about a year ago and never repurchased and you just reminded me about it. It’s on the list to repurchase. Thank you
Thank you so much for doing this! I think the Vibrancy palette blush looks great on you and it seems like it wore very well. That Ilia mascara is just wow! I need to try it.
I react to phenoxyethanol. It's in EVERYTHING. So clean make up to me is anything without that in. In the UK we have nude by nature that thankfully doesn't have phenoxyethanol in...
We recently got Lilah B in Australia & I really want to try some of the products especially the bronzer. I have been using the Kosas Creme blush & highlight in 8th Muse & I have fallen in love, I kind of want to try other shades. It’s not super important to me if a product is clean, but I do find a lot of products in the clean beauty kind of brands are great for dewy minimal makeup look which I have been loving lately.
Beautycounter is the cleanest brand and has some really high quality skin products I love. It needs more attention! Please do a review on the makeup. I’d love to see how it wears
Loving the foundation and mascara. I've been getting into clean beauty....mainly skincare. I've been eyeing the makeup. I'm definitely going to have to get the mascara and try the foundation.
The lipstick is a good color for you, and it also makes your lips look fuller. The foundation is amazing as well as the mascara really almost everything. I’d be interested in knowing how finally mailed the face powder was and if it comes and I pressed version. Heading over to Sephora to check that out. Thanks for all you do to help us make good purchase decisions.
I saw Mariah said bronzer works so well. I think ya should set outside of face w powder too cuz other then that cream catches bronzer and makes patches like ya said Jamie. Color wise looks fine! Btw, thanks for the Nudestick sunset strip recommendation! I bought yar recommendation color, everyone think I got sunburnt lol which gave me already summer vibes!
You always end up looking so gorgeous, it's like magic 😘. I was wondering if you could try out the Kjar Weiss foundation, the packaging looks so beautiful and I've heard good things, but normally what works for your skin, works for mine, so I'd love to hear your take on it, before I spend that much money 😩 I would also love love LOVE to see a video from you on your top 5 or favourite cushion foundations. I've been wanting to buy one out of curiosity, but have no idea where to start 😂
I've recently switched to natural makeup and beauty counter is a good brand with good products. I would recommend trying them out they need to be talked about for sure!
I think the final outcome was soft & beautiful. I don’t think the bronzer looked dirty at all, it didn’t pull orange either. To me it looked like a true natural tan. And those lashes... can you say full & fluffy.💗LOVE
the cover FX bronzers are amazing just give it another chance It always happens when u have cream products underneath the powder just sticks and start moving around!
BTW..everything looks so beautiful. Next stop..Sephora. Checkin out the Bite lip and that lovely mascara as well as the amazing Maran foundation. Thanks Jamie.
Clean Beauty Brands to try out that I would recommend are rms (especially the highlighters) and kjaer weis also the Ilia true Skin Serum foundation and concealer Love u❤❤❤
I loved this video! I'm more of a natural makeup fan, myself. I think these products look stunning on you, I can't wait to try some of these out, definitely the foundation after mine runs out. Currently I'm using 100 Percent Pure water foundation and luminous primer. I also love their bronzer. Ilia mascara is one of my favorites too, and your lashes looked amazing. Right now I'm into the Poofy Organics HD mascara. Those are my clean beauty recommendations. I just also have to say how well done your videos are Jamie. I'm really enjoying your content. 👌☺
