This was two boxing masters squaring off, and one of them happened to be a full level of the other. It's hard to make a quality boxer like Marquez look like an average fighter.

That knock down in the second was nothing short of brilliant. He knew two shots to the diaphragm that close together would knock him down. After watching a lot of his fights I get the feeling he could have won every single one of them in two or three rounds if he really tried. He just stretched them out to demonstrate his skill. All fights for him are like a sparring session.

Mayweather knew how to expose weaknesses of the counter-punchers. The weaknesses are there but not everyone has the quickness and athletic ability to consistently win over them.
