Mandi is a traditional dish that originated from Hadhramaut, Yemen, mainly consists of meat and rice with a special blend of spices, cooked in a pit. It is extremely popular and prevalent in most areas of the Arabian Peninsula, and even considered a staple dish in many regions. It is also found in Egypt, the Levant, and Turkey.
Mandi was usually made from rice, meat (lamb, camel, goat or chicken), and a mixture of spices called Hawaij. The meat used is usually a young and small sized lamb to enhance the taste further.
The main technique which differentiates mandi from other meat dishes is that the meat is cooked in the tandoor (taboon in Arabic), which is a special kind of oven which is usually a pit dig up in the ground and covered with clay all around its sides.
Mandi is considered the main dish served during special events, such as Eid, weddings, and feasts in Yemen and southern Saudi Arabia.
As described in Mandi history, Palmshore mandi goat was too tender and juicy. A well marinated full goat cooked in tandoor oven to the dot. The aroma of spices was too tempting to have the meat more and more. The rice was well balanced with less spices and saffron flavors. It was a feast to our taste-buds.
Momos was really good, the outer layer was too thin and the stuffing was more. It went well with their sweet chili garlic sauce.
Coal BBQ chicken was awesome, the meat was too tender and cooked to the dot. The cooking process itself told us the marination level, it was simply superb to our taste-buds.

Arrow chicken, an another Indo-Chinese chicken starter, boneless chicken cubes mixed with Indian spices and coated with gram flour and deep fried. A crispy and juicy chicken served with chili garlic sauce was a perfect combo.
