The most beautiful place I’ve ever been. I went twice. Flew out the second time and totally worth it. Would love to make the confluence on my third trip.

Your video is so so nice, love it. It looks like you both had a great time. Do you know which days does the helicopter operates, I would love to hike in and out but my heels pain has been on and off for few years already but I'm still keep this hike in my bucket list. It would be helpful if I can take the helicopter if in case my heels starts to hurt around the "planned" trip time. Thank you so so much.

We car camped at a hotel called the Grand Canyon caverns. Not sure where to fly into we drove from California!

I'm heading there in two weeks and was wondering about where to stay the night before the hike. I see in another comment you slept in your car in the Grand Canyon Caverns Inn parking lot? Is that allowed or did you have to be stealthy about it?

We made reservations to “car camp” there, you can also make reservations at the hotel itself if you want.

I'm so confused between a permit and reservation. Is it considered a permit if i have 3 nights reservation on supai lodge or...permit is separate thing you have to get in advance??? Thnx in advance!!!

@@halohalohikers3571 thank you. It looks like you need to be in shape for that. Especially going back up. I train in the gym 7 days a week so it shouldn’t be a problem for me. My problem is heights. I’ll be closing my eyes all the way. 😂😂

@@bc58 yea it will test your nerves! I stopped twice just to catch my breath and get my bearings straight. That’s the key though, just don’t rush take your time! Let people pass if someone else comes along and you feel like they are faster then you. Just go slow if you need to.

Do you think it’s possible to make it through without a permit? Will I have to pass checkpoints?

There is a road block and they check passes. Pretty long drive out there to risk it tbh.

what if I don't want to sleep there, I just want to see the first waterfall and leave (by helicopter if possible because hiking is not easy for me) , is that possible?

You can ride on a helicopter (around $100 each way; booked on the spot; no advance reservations. Or you can go by horseback, which is booked through the Tourist Office. Also, You will have to pay for four days no matter what which is around $450 dollars.
