My favorite impact statement was the one Tammy sister gave she was so on point and really gave it to Chad in an indirect manner, she really stick up for her sister
To me, all of her family I felt were spot on, as was Colby Ryan. I believe her dad, brothers, and sister were awesome. They really painted the details in the overall picture. Chad's children do not have anything to do with this side of their family. This really makes them look guilty! As in they had a part they played in their mothers death! This really should be looked in to further!
Im so glad Tami’s family made sure that the world knew who Tami really was, not the person Chad, her own children and the defense attorney made her out to be. Justice has been served. Prayers to all the victims.
It’s very weird that 2 of Chad’s children and Emma’s spouse were willing to take the stand and throw some shade on Tammy to try and save his behind, but they aren’t here to advocate for him when he’s facing the death penalty
I was surprised Tami’s children Emma and Garth made Tami out to be a sickly depressed mother. So happy Tami’s family stepped up and made sure the world knew who Tami really was.
They don't agree with the verdict and they are very disturbing human beings, to put lightly. Emma is worse, Garth is just a follower. Also, I believe even followers should pay if they are involved. Emma knew everything, probably even participated, since she was the one checking the weather. Garth is the one that founded Tammy or was the one set to find her by Chad from the beginning. Maybe he didn't know what was going down. But I think they were convinced that they must to help the second coming. If Tammy dies, it is good in their understanding. What make them more dangerous. There is no law to prevent them from committing crimes in the future, even against their own children, if they are dark.
They didn’t do him any favors when they testified in the guilt phase. I don’t think they would help at all to save him from DP. My guess is that Prior (wisely) asked them to stay far, far away from the courthouse.
Hearing this man explain this makes me wonder why Chad's children did not come today to plea for their dad. Of all times they had this would have been the day if they truly wanted to save him. H8s parents why didn't they speak?
Personally I think Chad wants to be a martyr. Also calling Emma and Garth to the stand worked horribly for their dad. That’s why I hope he gets life. Not sitting alone for 23 hours but mingling with all the boys. His next big romance may be with Big Bibba!
@@pattykake7195 that’s some real truth there. I must admit, I’m worried about an appeal . Prior may fight the state of Idaho on the 6th and 14th amendment. Saying that when prior tried backing out due to no DP experience. I think it’s why they were so cocky knowing Prior had this in his back pocket. Hopefully there are no grounds .
Speculate and try to get it right. I'm not sure it's going to happen quickly, but I'm sure Chad's family members aren't going to be surprised at the outcome. They will not agree with the decision, thankfully it's not up to his kids to decide.
No, he deserves to sit for 15 years and have his hopes raised and dashed with every appeal, and then spend his last days worrying about his death warrant being signed. He deserves to sit in a cell 23 hours a day, alone so he can't poison any other minds. JJ doesn't get life, so Chad shouldn't either.
Don't think Juries should be given this burden. If the State wants to execute people let it make the decision via Judge. I would not want the death of any person no matter how heinous their actions on my comscience.
Life in prison though will be Hell for Chad daybell. General population will be worse for him than putting him off by himself. Either way not going to be pretty for him.
Great choice of a specialist to ask: he's knowledgeable, articulate, & humane! Excellent camera work, excellent audio, & intelligent questions from interviewer, eliciting the best out of everyone! Fantastic piece of work here by everyone!
I wish he would have been asked why he thinks there were no impact statements from Chad’s side. I understand that is very rare. I think it’s obvious why his kids didn’t speak but it would have been nice to hear this defense attorneys perspective on that. Great answers from him though!
I honestly think Prior doesn't care..he knew it was lost before he even started. I didn't like his ways but he did.the best he could with what he had, and Chad can't say otherwise. Now, I don't know if it'll be a problem that Prior asked for help and was denied it, but I think Chad would've still been found guilty
Chad like Glory did not participate in the mitigating surface paperwork so therefore his dumb lawyer who had to point out every criminal thing Chad did it's like he absolutely brought out all the bad things that kept writing on them at the end of the day Lori did not do this alone they have to use their common Sense ty was heavier so therefore I'm not making fun of her because most little girls from 12 to 18 are heavier but you're going to tell me more about yourself with Alex but they could not do this without ding bell
Chad was using coded phrases between himself and Lori. I have never heard of such a thing as “death percentage” who talks that way? Percentage = money & zombie = killing For example, no one would describe a sick and dying person by saying… My 106 year old grandma is on her dying bed. I think her “death percentage is 2%, she is almost close to the zombie stage. Mostly people of religious faith may say the person is getting ready to leave this world or to meet the maker.
On Lori; I didn’t know this. I thought it had something to do with her being 🦇 💩 🤪 Each state is so wildly different when it comes to mental illness and guilt and punishments etc.
1) Lori was, eventually, found competent to stand trial and to participate in her defense. 2) Idaho does not permit a claim of "insanity" or "mental defect" -- at the time of the commission of the crime -- as a defense against actual guilt.
@@u.synlig right right. I remember all of that. I’m saying, I thought because she wasn’t excused to stand trial and found competent, he decided to drop death from the table because of the circumstances and because she kept slipping in and out of competence. Maybe I’m not making sense. Another words, maybe it wouldn’t meet those circumstances for death based on her mentally bananas issues. I can’t imagine being a jury member and having to put a mentally crazy person to death. I guess that’s what I meant and why I thought they decided to drop it. But either way, now I know why it was dropped. The time factor in terms of dropping the death penalty is absolutely dumb to me. The jury should still have had the option to decide whether there was time for the prosecution or not. They still would have found her guilty no matter how the prosecution went about this. She put up no defense… They literally had this trial handed to them. Jury should have gotten the option.
That marshmallow Man Chad daybell will love being in prison he can write letters to lonely ladies and write those crazy off the Wall books, eat cafeteria food, he will love it.
💥💥KUTV...is this reporter a intern? She is awful! Starting with the introduction, not sharing her mic and making a big deal out of why Lori Daybell didnt get the DP. Seriously! What was so personal about that? You really need to give her more training and let her shadow a good reporter. Maybe she'll learn something!
Having been interviewed on the news myself, I’ve always been wearing a mic clipped to my shirt. You can see he has a mic clipped on his lapel. That can create some background noise or scratching. Also, there are cars in the background.
@@BH-1964there is a mic on his left lapel. You can see half way through the interview (right side of screen). Doesn’t matter though because, yes, you can hear just fine. Just responding to those who were complaining and wanted her to share her mic.
Wow, Lori just got lucky. The state didn't have the discovery ready in time for the trial so instead of extending the start of her trial out the judge took the death penalty off. That's the state's fault... they let Lori off lightly. Bad job!
