It looks so gorgeous!! This was a wonderful refresh to an iconic part of Disneyland history!! I'm glad they're continuing to show the world the beauty of the Main Street Electrical Parade!
"...our spectacular festival pageant of nighttime magic and imagination in **ThOUSaNdS** of sparkling lights..." 🥴What happened there? That was a really unpleasant pitch change. The rest was great!
Leave it to the new Disney to ruin something I love. Been watching this Parade since the 1970's and then they go and throw something that makes the LBGTQ+++ people happy and the rest of us sad. This was done all because they want 5- to 8-year-old children to learn about sexuality. This is the only reason why they did this.
In all fairness, Disneyland is where the Main Street Electrical Parade first sparkled to life. So it kind of makes sense for the Parade to spend it's 50th anniversary at Disneyland.
@@paulscott6018 I get it but WDWs entertainment is embarrassing compared to other resorts around the globe, only shows of quality are Festival of the lion King and Frozen Sing a long. meanwhile DLR has an amazing stage show with mickey and a Broadway quality production of Frozen. Also it's WDWs golden celebration they ahould get something other than a laughable cavalcade.
@@allenzhu2178 Since Chapek took over the parks division in 2016 he's been a downward spiral of budget cuts everywhere, he's basically abandoned the entertainment department at WDW, only new entertainment offering came out since then was Friendship Faire, which is okay at best. WDW has been without a night parade for almost 6 years.
the new electric announcement voice that say ladies and gentlemen boys and girls Disneyland probably presents was terrible. I liked the old one. Change that old one back!!!!

@@MarvinClarence Sorry, but TO HONOR AMERICA was NOT in the original 1972-1974 MSEP, but SMALL WORLD actually was. The bacon float with the screaming eagle was added after the 1976 Bicentennial. Tokyo's MSEP has always ended on Small World.

@@mikegumby25 i really liked the American flag at the end. Its sad to see it go. We were there when 9/11 happened and they shutdown the park. The following day they had the parade and seeing the American flag at the end gave everyone hope. We've gone every year since til we moved to fl. and became AP but sadly were no longer cause of the prices. Its sad to see history leaving.

@@mikegumby25 oh shut up. Things change. You just can’t accept change. If you’re that disappointed by this, don’t watch it ever again then. Simple solution. Move on with your life
@@mikegumby25 How did this become LBGTQ+? We are celebrating various cultures hero stories from around the world vs. just saying how great America is. Rainbow's belong to everyone. Have you been to Hawaii? Rainbows are pictured everywhere and in everything. Last time I checked the story of Noah in bible says that god put a rainbow in the sky as his promise to never flood the earth again.
I was disappointed. The parade was missing so many of the best old floats. The last float seems too long and is not about a famous Disney movie. It changes the theme and purpose of the parade from beloved Disney classics to political correctness, and just doesn't fit. And where is the Tribute to America float at the end??? There is no way that I will pay over $100 per family member to see this disappointing reenactment of the historic Disneyland MSEP of the past.
If you think that this is even close to the parade that debuted in ‘72 then you have a lot of catching up to. MSEP always rolls with the times and floats were swapped out consistently until probably the mid 90s
