Taking advantage of the carnival leagues stop, we organized the International Carnival Cup, a Children's category tournament on February 25-26-27, 2022
The International Carnival Cup, organized by Marin Sports Events, presents its seventh edition taking advantage of the stoppage of the Grassroots Soccer leagues on carnival dates. The “International Carnaval Cup” has its headquarters this year at the CE Premia de Dalt facilities.
It all started in 2012 when the idea of holding a tournament on a different date than the rest was proposed. From the organization, we gave the green light for it to be during the carnival dates and we started the first edition only with the presence of a large team, RCD Espanyol, which was the winner of that first edition. The rest of the teams were from the Maresme region.
Time passed and the following year it was decided to go for a second edition, where the presence of two more teams was achieved, at the same level as RCD Espanyol. Those teams were FC Barcelona and Valencia CF.
Today we can say that in only three editions, the tournament was consolidated at the national level with the presence of teams such as Real Madrid, Real Zaragoza, CD Castellón, and Damm CF, among others.
Like every edition, the poster promises to be spectacular, an effort will be made to include some top teams in the category, such as FC Barcelona, RCD Espanyol, Valencia CF, Real Madrid, Real Zaragoza, Real Sociedad, Celta de Vigo and some foreign teams, such as Manchester City, Genk, West Bromwich, Legia de Warsaw, Olympique de Marseille, St. Kevin's from Ireland...
The main objective is that the players themselves can value the values that a sport like football transmits and, above all, that all participants and companions can enjoy a great show.
