Me and fonzo use it and it free dmg you can also use it as mix up and go for another immediate gb by waiting a little than they can’t dodge since there in weak block

Seems like it’s kinda underrated since I don’t really see people use it much these days, might make a build on it soon

To make a good build with it take too much points if you want to get all the good gale talents

Gale Lunge is a must have Astral wind Rising wind (Only use it when they’re in hitstun) Heavenly wind Champion’s whirlthrow (Block break) Air force (optional) Wind passage (unless you have a better mobility)

For example; fire blade, ( block breaks ) spine cutter, rising wind to champions whirlthrow in the ground

ive heard everchanging aegis is really good even with lots of dual attunement builds the cooldown for when it resets is really quickly so you don't experience the 10% extra dmg often. i do agree that gale could be better with other attunements but imo gale has lots of strong mantras itself so you don't really have too, plus it can be hard to fit the extra investment in for other attunements sometimes

@SpidersDW I might test out the talent and see if it's like that or no, and 100% agree with what you said, I'm just a hybrid fanatic and I love mixing gale with other attunements since its my favorite magic

totally doable, you're basically just replacing the weapon stat with willpower. just be sure to take full advantage of SoO and use points sparsely (25 agility, prob dont go reinforced armor, etc)

nope, no need to go 30 strength. all you need is the gale requirement for all specter talents

I think it’s alright, personally I would’ve dropped some of the weapon stat and put those points into intel and willpower but if you prefer high weapon damage and are using the medium mantras and well that’s probably fine to do

I was very weary about the curved blade of winds m1 dmg because in your video comparing gale hero blade and CboW, IIRC you said cbow does less m1 dmg than HboW and I wanted my build to make up for that. I don't really know if that M1 dmg is good (I play heavy a lot) but after asking others and sparring against my guildmates I think it is. I'm picking up gale again after learning the game a bit better ever since verse 2 came out and I thought it'd be nice if I re-visted my first ever attunement I thought was super cool at the time. Thanks to my new found skill and how to build/set up mantras correctly I'm really liking gale. Especially CboW. I also forgot to mention that my race was a celtor and it was a Jetstriker build, wasn't sure if you could tell. But again, thank you so much for your feedback. I'm curious to see how you would have done the pre-shrine spread. I decided to go with Jetstriker and gale because aesthetically I think its pretty cool and they synergize really well. Now its a matter of learning how to use jet striker and playing off my speed boosts with gale as I learn the attunement. Thanks again!! (and sorry for the yapfest!) Keep up the awesome work!!!!!! Edit: I forgot to mention I went 4 4 2 2, I really like balance with my builds.

i can always use knowledge to fix it and for my build it gives me 1 more point of m1 dmg, I thought it was okay for a weapon like cbow to benefit from @@Lemantra

gale coil only affects suffocation, not winded youll be good without gale coil for spectre

I wouldn’t go it not worth the talent slot imo either way

It does work on winded but winded is an awful effect so don't sweat it if you can't afford it

also can i get some pointers on if i should sacrifice 92 medium for ghost or go ghost and have 82 medium i feel like the 90 medium isnt too necessary and all im getting from it is tss + sk but ghost is also sort of unnecessary, i do want at least one of these though

I suggest going 55 charisma pre shrine for talents. I usually go 50 fortitude pre shrine for to the finish Not sure why you’re going 65 since tap dancer is useless basically

@@pokohoko9575 50 Fortitude pre shrine is a good idea, but there is not enough stat points for 55 charisma. I went 65 Agility pre-shrine for cheap shot, and gale gives you lots of speed buffs

shrine of order, balances out your stats with a hard cap of -25, except for attunement points@@aazxcasd

cheap shot is not worth the extra 2 dmg you really wanna get charisma tho because it gives you a defense and offense buff

cus storm link adds flat damage per gale hit, but people can parry the lightning damage mid rising wind and that can knock you away if ur in an uppercut

You can parry the lightning flashes, but my friend said it still does damage to him.

you do know storm link got completely gutted with surge lmfao it legit cannot proc surge stacks at all anymore it only does "increased lightning damage" which is like 1% extra dmg on proc, check upd logs youll see

@@SpidersDW I’m not sure if you have this problem but Gale punch doesn’t necessarily apply hit stun because when I use it against other people their mantras doesn’t get canceled

If this is a non shrine build, then I suggest u take at least 40 points out of medium and put 10 into fortitude and str, then the rest of the 20 points into intelligence for lightspeed reflexes, then take another 5 points out of medium, put into intelligence for ever-changing aegis and perfect flash (perfect flash is usable now after the buff)

yep, although kind of a shame that you're not going 30 to get strong hold, which would let you use the khan helm and get +2 posture but it's not too big of a deal

the champion sword meta where u save points by going 37/40 med was only set up for c hampions sword because of its actually pretty decent stats at such a low level which is why people used it but if ur using anything other than it itll most likely be mid (going less med also doesnt help) so id prefer to just go champions sword
