Hello, everyone! I'm Jane, a destination wedding photographer from KL, Malaysia. Today, I'm excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at one of the photoshoots I did with a lovely couple. I'll show you how I work, how I make connections, and even how I make them laugh during the process.
One of my primary goals is to create a casual and relaxed atmosphere for all my couples. I often set the mood with soothing music or play their favorite playlist. Or feed them alcohol haha. I want them to know that there are no expectations, no rules, and no pressure to be perfect.. except fun!!
With this friendly and approachable attitude goes a long way in making the couple feel comfortable and at ease. Often, the best shots happen when the couple forgets about the camera existence and simply just, enjoy being together, having a good time. My goal is to ensure them knowing that i am not just a photographer, but i am a friend who genuinely cares about them, their love story.
The most fulfilling part of being a photographer is fading into the background, letting the love between them to shine, to take the center stage. It's not about showcasing my skills; it's about celebrating their love.
I always remind myself that I am not doing this for me, but it is about them!
