Man made 44 looking eeeeeezzz. This is the dude that can break both 200m and 400m records. Smooth operator. He may do three-peat on 300m, 400m, 200m records. Crazy fast!
No. You are an early ticket holder on the hypetrain. He may get the 200 one day but he hasn't got the 300 at sea level yet, is a long way off the 100, ways off the 200 and over a second outside the 400. Not really close in any yet.
Dude WvN ran a better 300 and a full second better in the 400, LT is still miles off the 100&200. . His 300 was at super high altitude. Give him time and cool your jets. He's more likely to not get any of the records.
@@timn4481 Give him time??? Do you not understand what it meant when I said "future 400m world record holder? He's 20 years old and just opened his season with a 44.29 despite being new to the 400. Yes, he needs time, but not much. And as for the 200........miles off? His best is 19.50 ran at the age of 19. Do you just not like the guy, or something? Give credit where credit is due and acknowledge that this kid is running insane times for his age, as well as for his lack of experience in the 400.
He definitely ain’t touching the 100 meters though he far too weak to generate the level of power to run 9.5 even a powerhouse like yohan Blake couldn’t break that in his prime
@@GladwinAbel I agree that breaking the record in the 100m is more unlikely than him breaking the record in the 200m and 400m, which is why I didn't mention it. However, I don't think it's completely out of the question, as he ran a 9.88 at only 19 years old. At this point, I think his best shot is the 400, especially considering he's pretty much brand new to it, hasn't been training for it at all, as is still opening his season with a 44.29 at the young age of only 20 while also shutting down a little before the finish line. His potential here is crazy.
@@thehumanracehasfailedAgreed. Everyone can clearly see he shut it down and jogged across the line. He could have knocked 0.3” off his time without much additional effort. That would have given him a sub-44 which would have been in the top 100 all-time performances in history. The fact that he was still a teenager 9 months ago should give 400 meter runners around the world serious concern. Every man here knows that our greatest gains in strength and endurance happened when we were between 20 and 23.
African accent? There is no continental accent (there's like a hundred languages or more with different dialects on top of those). They are in South Africa btw though I wouldn't be surprised if there are also spectators from other nearby countries. Maybe it was a South African accent but it didn't sound like it to me (If you've watched District 9 you'll know the accent).
The fact that Usain Bolt worshippers feel prompted to respond to this video by saying that the 100m record isn't going anywhere shows that they are (rightfully) scared that LT may dethrone their god.
He's talented no doubt but on the big stage running rounds against other quality athletes aint gonna be this easy stick to 100 and 200 or 200 and 400 or specialize in one
