I'm about to do my second driving test in Warwick today :) The junctions are much less complicated but there are some sharp corners and you'll probably have a dual carriage way with an acceleration lane. Last time I failed because I was in the right lane of the roundabout to go into the second exit and I wasn't forward enough on a T junction as their was low visibility. All in all, Warwick is a really nice place to drive :)

Random Good Stuff yes it’s important to look around and make sure no one is too close behind before you move off. Check all mirrors and your blind spot (over your right shoulder) just before moving off.

Lol I did the same thing too I never forward parked into a bay I always reverse parked as that’s what could possibly have come up in the test so at the end I tried to treat it the same way as a reverse park by stopping horizontal of the bays and then turning in and messed it up so bad haha.

Hi Marisa, those lights would also apply to her as that is a pedestrian crossing. You can recognise a pedestrian crossing as it has zig zag lines on approach. Hope this helps.

12manyforyou a) during my lessons my instructor was teaching me about turning right into the left lane (like you would if you were turning left) as the right lane is for overtaking or turning right.

12manyforyou b) im not sure about the white van but the lights were green and i thought it was my ROW. Maybe the white van just saw a space and went for it because I was further away and thought he had time because I'm a learner?

12manyforyou c) it has been several months since my test but im sure the instructor did tell me to turn left and then my individual driving by following road signs happened later on - hope this cleared up a few things for you

Kirst Tea - yep absolutely👍,in Ireland our test is notoriously difficult 50% pass rate some centre's have 40% or less,it consists of at present -random questions on rules of the road + a bout 6-8 random road signs,then out to your vehicle either your own or instructors car (you're choice)for checks on oil levels,coolant levels,and brake and power steering fluid followed by in-car checks ,de-misters,(all)lights in full working order,handbrake etc etc,then out on the road for the driving part ,consists of (3 mandatory manoeuvres),(1turnabout)(2reverse around a corner)( 3hillstart) followed by 8-10 km's of driving and bout halfway through the driving part you'll be asked to stop to show you're hand signals and then you'll be brought back to the centre and given your results, thank God I've got mine behind me now and I was driving on a provisional since 2002 , ah well wish you all the best and anybody taking the test coz it isn't easy 👍👍👍

Kirst Tea - Ah yeah it's definitely hard but I've also heard the british test is also very hard I think was reading somewhere it's most difficult test in Europe ,but if u put in a bit of effort and practice I'm sure you'll be fine too 😊,it's only a couple of weeks of knuckling down and practicing-know you're test routes at ur particular centre (living near really helps) as you know the roads and speed limits too and after you pass you have it for life and don't worry if you don't not the end of the world I passed my 2nd go -wish you all the best - good luck👍

Be You Unfortunately I didn't pass I got no serious or dangerous but because I checked my mirrors too late sometimes I got minors for them and he had to fail me but definitely advised me to do a few more hours and book again because I'm good at driving I was lucky to have such a nice instructor

Swaggination yes same in December first time two serious for not looking left mirror when Lanes merge.and second emergency break nonsense my brake was too light.i could have passed without making those two mistakes.But oh well hopefully second time we will pass

I passed mine today. Just stay calm and drive like you normally would. Don’t try and do “extra” things to impress the examiner or whatever just drive exactly how you’ve been taught and let the examiner do their job and you’ll be fine. If in any doubt just stop. If you’re not sure you have enough space to drive by parked cars then just stop or if you think your visibility will be obstructed at a junction stop and crawl out and be very careful at roundabouts only enter once you’re absolutely sure it’s safe there’s a lot of idiots who speed on to roundabouts it’s better to get a minor for hesitation rather than a major for nearly crashing. I got failed the first time because someone wasn’t indicating coming round a roundabout so I thought I could enter. Try not to think about it too much the night before either just do what you’d normally do like watch tv or whatever DO NOT watch last minute videos on how to pass etc they’ll just make you more nervous and confuse you. On the day of your test go out for a drive an hour before and whilst waiting in the waiting room just go over the show me tell me questions in your head that will calm your nerves. Good luck 😁.

Unknown Congrats on your pass 👏 I passed my mock today so that's given me a boost of confidence but I'm still a little nervous. It's now only 2 days away so I'm just gonna try and stay positive and hopefully get the same good news as you did today.

It’s normal to be nervous as soon as I drove into the test centre to take my test I got this weird feeling in my legs I can’t explain but as soon as I was out the Centre doing th actual test I was focussed. I also took something called Bach Rescue Remedy it’s a blend of natural flower oils that calms anxiety and nerves my instructor recommended it to me and it really helped me to calm down I think you can get it over the counter at a pharmacy so you could give that a go and it has no side effects like drowsiness etc. There’s nothing more you can do to prepare you’ve put the hours in it’s not like a school exam where you can learn stuff the night before just try not to think about it. Whatever happens it’s not the end of the world there’s always a bit of luck needed to pass I know terrible drivers who have passed first time and some even with no minors.

Ashley Crystal yeah I got 1 major at the last 5 minutes of the test lol but only 5 minor I pulled out of a junction when another car was apparently driving too fast towards us oh well I have another test coming up in September I'll update again wish me luck :)

If you had only 5 minors, that's good then. That one major mistake could have happened to anybody that's why I always try to stop at all give away lines but I don't want to do it too much at the same time so I don't get marked down for hesitation.

It's not on the test anymore. I believe the test was updated a couple years ago not too long after this test was filmed. I agree it's an dangerous manoeuvre but I think its more practical than its replacement of pulling up on the right and reversing two car lengths.

This literally a voice over. He's not telling her what to do at all. It's illegal to record audio from inside the car, so the instructor is talking over what she is doing for educational purposes.

Tawanda Majasi the bay parking wasnt part of her test, it was just to park up in a safe place in the test centre to reveal results etc. she had already done the one monouver required being the reverse around the corner earlier on. If the bay parking was the one she had to do, then she deffo would have failed tho
