Thank you for these videos. I watch them before each month since I am going there. Your videos help me get ready. I appreciate them. If I could survive 3DF I can survive this one lol!
Thank you for the kind words! I’m glad to see these videos are still helping people even after a few years! Oh yeah, 3DF was a struggle but getting passed it made me feel super confident moving forward in the program! I wish you the best!!
Just off the top of my head, it: • has 500GB • has a 15in screen • has a great battery If you’d like to see my more detailed review of it and the rest of the Launch Box from Full Sail, feel free to check out my Lunch Box Unboxing video
I start online next month, This video series is awesome! I'm really glad I've got this for a heads up. I had no idea what to expect untill now. How strict are they on the continuous line drawings? I need alot of practice. I have experience with Photoshop and photography. I have never attempted continuous line drawing so that's got me nervous. Thank you so much for these videos!
They do not want you to pick up your pen during this process, however, I did multiple times throughout the picture. As long as you can successfully make it look like you did not break contact with the paper, you’ll be fine. They aren’t super strict about it because they know that the pictures likely won’t look that good. My best advice for these kind of projects is to try your best to make it look as close to your picture as possible and don’t sweat it if something looks off
I started computer animation January 1st or 2018 and got my launch box toward the end of February 2018, though I did have 3 of my 5 prerequisites done before I started the program
@@TetradArt thank God! I was sitting here sweating it lmao either way love the series youve made and im making my way through it. I'm supposed to start my associates degree for gaming art august 30th and I can't wait!
@@TetradArt thank you so much! One more question, can you tell me or any other students what to expect after graduation? Career wise is it easy to find a job in whatever degree field you've chosen and or does full sail help with that process?
Mr Smiley So far I have yet to find a job. COVID certainly ruined my plans. The job posting out now mostly want remote animators and most places won’t want to hire animators straight out of school to be remote and not keep an eye on their work first hand. Additionally my location has no opportunity for me in the industry and I am stuck at my current house for about another 10 months. So my career plan is to keep animating and getting stuff out there right now, then move to an area of better opportunities next summer and go from there
You can pay for each academic year (every 8 months) or what I did was take out loans that I won’t have to start paying on until at max 6 months after I have graduated
Hey! I am in CA through Full Sail too, I'm about to start month 17. Hit me up sometime if your interested! I really wish I would have kept up videos with my experience! Keep it up!
I really enjoyed Art2 for the Creature concept and I enjoy animation so Portfolio 3 was good I haven't done rigging yet. I like the idea of modeling but I am not the greatest, I feel like my head understands Animating better than modeling. 3D animation was a very informative class make sure you pay attention to it and portfolio 2. SAL was a great class too just SOOO much info in such a short time, KEEP NOTES!
Thank you! since I'm too far from Orlando and my Mom wants me to go to campus I will have to go to Miami International University Arts and Design oof. I will go to Full Sail once I finish my 4 years in computer animation and start film production.
