I'm a bit late but ares was finding the marked warrior to bring down Olympus so Deimos probably served ares like kratos did when ares found out that Deimos is not the prophesied warrior he imprisoned him again probably that's why Deimos is ripped and wearing an armour Theory by kaptain kuba lol

Plus wonder woman has a more of a hesitation to kill and that could make the match up very quickly

@@eliasgalindo5578 It took a sword empowered by not only Zeus, but also _all_ of Kratos’ godly powers in order to put him down the first time - and he was a Demi-god by that point. I don’t think Wonder Woman has anything that powerful in her arsenal. Not to mention Kratos even before gaining his deification successfully killed Ares *without* the power of Hope - which he only gained after accepting his grief for the slaughter of his family. A mortal Kratos successfully killed a god. A composite Kratos would be devastating. Especially if he’s bloodlusted.

Yup. It’s tragic but also kind of karma. He was killing without mercy or thought. Not thinking about the fact that he was killing the wife, husband, son and daughter of someone else. Didn’t hit him until he experienced the loss personally 😢

Hes definitely up there. I cant think of many video game characters that are more powerful (and skilled) than him

Kratos' shoulders are almost big enough to be an impediment lol

It is not just that bro. It is the events of Ghost of Sparta that set Kratos's rebellion against the Gods in motion. When Kratos is forced to put down his own mother, learns about the truth of his brother, and then Athena appearing at the end offering to remove his memories in hopes of sating his anger that ultimately drove his quest for vengeance against the Gods. Athena could do it the whole time, she could remove his nightmares but she chose not to, and it is only when Kratos learns the whole truth about how his life and family had been royally f***ed due to the Gods that she offered to do it in hopes of appeasing him. If Kratos didn't learn the truth about his family in Ghost of Sparta, she would have been fine with him being plagued by nightmares for eternity when he became a God. It is only when she fear and know the repercussions of him knowing the truth that she offered to remove his memories and nightmares. This is the atypical self-fulfilling prophecy situation, where the Gods try to prevent their demise at the hands of a prophecised Marked Warrior, only to end up creating the circumstances and fulfilling the prophecy themselves. If they hadn't taken Deimos from the very start, none of these chain of events would have happened.

By far the biggest irony, is how in _GOW: Ascension,_ the Furies were suppressing Kratos's nightmares the entire game, but Kratos's decision to embrace the truth, is what took away his very first chance for peace from him.

Yeah it’s a nice timeline video and pretty seemless with going from game to game 🙂

I first played it because of the Greek mythology angle it took and it was fun combat. Then the story grows on you 😊

Hack and slash games often skimp out on story, but man, GOW really carved an interesting tale.

That’s so crazy that I never knew about Kratos before this game haha, even taking Greek Mythology class in college 🤗

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Yup, Greek mythology has so much lore that survived the times that what's been taught in college literature is like a small percentage of it, also he's the reason that Prometheus was chained up, fought the giants that wanted to destroy Olympus alongside the Gods of Olympus and Hercules, actually did fight Ares cause these two don't like eachother, he's best friends with Deimos who in actual Greek mythology is the God of pain and son of Ares and lastly he's 1 of the 4 divine enforcers of Zeus, the other 3 been Nike The Goddess of victory, Zealus The God of zeal and Rivalry, and Via The Goddess of force.

@@blackdarkness6798 Kratos was definitely a bad person . He was no better than the gods he wanted to kill , you could argue he was worse . Zeus cared about his family on Olympus too, it doesn't mean he wasn't a piece of shit tho . A lot of what has happened to Kratos is his own fault , obviously not everything but honestly a good chunk of it was .
