There is no way Chad and Lori would have went after Brandon without Melanie’s blessing. He had a large life insurance policy and only Melanie would have been able to give his location. Pryor is so annoying when he is talking to the witness but turns his body to the jury as if he is asking them a question. Very creepy. I know it is appropriate for the witness to look at the jury when answering a question but Pryor always looks at the jury like he is asking them the question. He barely looks at the witness at all. And sometimes he will stare at the prosecutor's table while speaking with the witness.

She’s not credible. First of all the interview of Lori and tylee after the fiasco with Charles when he came to Arizona to see JJ, Tylee discussed Tylee getting her GED. And possibly becoming a police officer. This isn’t indicative of a successful person getting into BYU. It was all made up. So for Melanie to believe two months later she was accepted into BYU is ridiculous.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, it amazes me how many of these extremely unfamiliar topics to me seem to Melani to be from her "LDS" (a term members of the church have been encouraged not to use to because it de-emphasizes the importance of Christ) beliefs. In fact, some of the beliefs she testified are consistent with her beliefs from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints directly contradict the official teachings of the church. It doesn't surprise me at all. I often hear members of the church claim the church teaches things that are actually in direct contradiction to the actual teachings of the church as well as claiming the church teaches a bunch of things that it doesn't even really explain. Yes, some of these things may superficially seem to be similar to actual teachings of the church, but it sounds like someone who instead of reading the scriptures and studying the doctrines themselves have instead been relying on others to tell them what the scriptures say, and the message got mangled like it would in a game of telephone. It reminds me, for example, of that Modern Family episode where Luke is making fun of Manny's mother because she used to dig for coal, and it turned out he really heard his mother say she thought Manny's mother was a gold digger. To those in the know, it is easy to see how the message got mangled. It also technically at least from an auditory perspective extremely close to what was said. However, in all the ways that matter to the ensuing fight, the actual meaning to the person who misunderstood the statement is nowhere near the original meaning.

She contradicted herself. She first said Chad personally shared things with her and then said that Lori told her Chad talked about the topics.
