Yes. Bubbled foam and hollow plastic weighs the exact same amount as a 40-pound alloyed claymore.

Not really but they're close. The foamy swords are a little bit heavier actually. Helps build muscle during duels.

@@theholymackerel072 their fighting is comical and ridiculous if u ask me…. But claymores were not 40lbs, more like 5 - 10lbs on average. The largest claymore on record was apparently 10kg (23lbs). Swinging a 5 pound blade isn’t easy either, these clowns are swinging their foam pool noodles like they’re lightsabers from starwars.

Real longswords were mostly between 110 and 140 cm long and rarely weighed more than 2 kilos. But these do look a bit longer. I think the weight is comparable, but the longer grip offers better leverage in handling it.

@@sandrooshvili3576 Those things dot weight more than 1.2 kilos max. Trust, me I do own foam weapons, polymer weappons and metal weapons. By the way, what longsword weighed more than 2 kilos? The heaviest one I owe weighs 1.6.

this is most likely a small once a week public park larp where they mostly focus on combat and dont focus on costume immersion
