Absolutely phenomenal work! I have loved this movie for as long as I can remember and you've made a board that far surpasses even the Noble Collection piece and the authenticity of real African wood just makes it so much cooler
I came across your channel because I wanted to use my CNC to 3D carve a Jumanji case and board. You totally took it to the next level and made it interactive. Are you willing to share any stl files and info on the Paspberry Pi and associated files etc?
@@danieldirocco2126 I found different versions of the board used in the actual film sold on various film prop auction websites, so photo references were helpul, although some are made of resin, one doesn't actually close, one doesn't open so it could float, and the colors vary.... but I loved the way they made the center orb, going from dark to a center of light green and ripples on the back, giving a touch of magic within, I have made one but it can still be better... I would love your feedback, would I have to upload a video here on youtube?

hola buenas noches desde España, tengo el tablero de noble collection Jumanji. Me gustaría obtener la tarjeta con el programa si ya diseño todas los acertijos de las cartas con esos efectos en digital, tengo entendido que se utiliza una Raspberry PI 3, con display y altavoces. Lo que no se es como logra cambiar la posición de las letras presionando el botón, ¿configuro el programa de la tarjeta de nuevo?, ahora tiene dos botones de encendido y preguntas, ¿pero donde pone la parte de carga para los componentes electrónicos?. Enhorabuena por el trabajo realizado esta mejor por botones que por sensor de sonido
Hi, thank you for the message. Yes the raspberry pi controls the riddles. Each button is connected to a different pin on the pi cpu. The custom software chooses the screen orientation based on the button. Charging is accomplished by removing the playing field.
I always wanted to ask, how you manage to put a sensor to detect the token on top without blocking the view of the center piece, without having it be visible? Is it place underneath the Screen?
