I wonder why they designed that in the center? Maybe to support the rest of the board? In any case, I really want to see riddles swirling beneath that Jumanji dome lol
Ordered one, myself. I plan on re-painting the entire thing (minus the interior board, as the paint on every copy I've seen is just about perfect, but I might have to do some touch-up work), and I plan on adding magnets to the four corners and the game pieces themselves.
Question please .if I replaced the tokens by magnetic pics the board will be applicable or I have to modify the board too. I am seeing your board magnetic it's modified or its magnetic by factory.
@@13Market I hope you get yours for Christmas too. I still can't get over rolling the dice into the Jumanji board. I keep reenacting the scene to myself where Alan drops the dice at gun point, and one of the dice does a dramatic tumble someplace else. lol
They were selling Jumanji replicas on their site for a certain shipping date, once their stock became available. They probably sell a set amount until they've exhausted the stock, then set a new date when they've restocked.
Hello its very nice see your video please can u tell me where I can buy this jumanji game board what u have how can I order please I need it for my son help if possible ....thank u
I filmed the Jumanji board on a white foam board. After sliding it around, I lifted the game to find the Rhino's paint had been chipped. I did a decent fix with brown and black sharpie.
There are tons available! The original maker of an accurate replica is still selling them but for thousands of dollars, so is the guy who made that RU-vid video of the entire process of him building one, also thousands of dollars. But there is another guy on Etsy that also makes them out of real wood and a glass dome but only for around $700. I will gladly pay $145 for this plastic one, but I can understand wanting to save up for such an accurate version :)
@@uhuhuh1966 I'll be honest here folks. I had already went ahead and bought a wooden Jumanji replica from etsy, *BEFORE* I found out about Noble Collection's version. No cancellations, and it's already on the way. Had I known about the Noble Collection's in advance, I totally would've gone for it in a heartbeat. Sure it isn't made of wood, but the material and design make it all top-notch. I'm fooled into thinking it's genuine wood. The deal breaker is how they've included an updated game for playing. It won't just be something to look at it awe and collect dust. It can be played like a proper board game.
It was a funny little journey discovering the existence of Noble Collection's replica. I figured I get the Wooden Cardinal Jumanji game. Then I had gone on etsy to locate a more movie accurate replica. It's on to Ebay to buy spare Jumanji game pieces in hopes of creating a playable Jumanji. There's the miniature Noble Collection's Jumanji board with electronic drums and led lights. It's in the comments I hear legends of the the $145 replica... Holy shit, this here Jumanji is my soulmate. If I ever work in the animated riddles beneath the dome, this will be my definitive Jumanji.
I’d love to see another video of the board all set up without the packaging and everything, like start with the board closed, then open it and pull out the pieces, roll the dice. I know you did that here, but the only reason I ask is because it doesn’t look like it closes completely? @ 8:14 ? It looks like the right side doesn’t shut all the way :/
It does seem like one side doesn't flush down completely. It's not too really noticeable when looking at the face itself. That's why I had that shot near the end going over the board, to show how it's shut more tightly with the foam removed. If I ever get the chance I'll make one where the board is being opened and set up properly. I'm sure by then everybody else is going to review this Jumanji beauty. Btw to me it smells almost like wood, and it's pretty hefty that I forget it's made from plastic.
PatientBC oh I love the details so much I don’t even notice that it’s plastic, I’ve always loved Noble Collection for making everything feel high end ❤️ And I agree it’s not as noticeable straight on, I just hope you didn’t get a board that doesn’t close right! I would recommend contacting Noble Collection, because even if there’s nothing wrong and it’s supposed to be that way, their customer service is always very kind and helpful 👍 I’ve received plenty of free replacements for wands that arrived bent and sent them photos.
When I drummed the bottom of the board, it feels hollow. And one of edges of the game board recessed inside flexes when you're touching it. I'm tempted to try and remove the board and see how much space is in there. I bet if somebody just placed their smart phone inside after removing the felt Jumanji center; you could play the riddle animations found on youtube. The instructions do say to set the jumanji cards in the center, but if I could just have a mystical dome playing deadly riddles. I would just set the cards to be drawn from the sidelines lol
@@uhuhuh1966 I'm pretty sure my board is just an anomaly, and the majority hopefully shut all the way. I'm happy with my Jumanji as is, and can't wait to play it with others. It was thoughtful of Noble Collection to include actual game board mechanics with this replica. And the life counts make me grateful for the recent Jumanji's success to bring this iconic piece of cinematic gold to life.
Garry Russell that’s because the new films didn’t have copyright to that actor’s face any longer, one of the reasons why this is based on the board from Welcome to the Jungle. I do have to say though that this board looks MUCH better in person than it does on video. I used to have the original board from M2K workshop and actually prefer this one (after I peeled the rules off and put them right and purchased better tokens and dice on Etsy). Also the defect on this guy’s board like not shutting properly is not the same with all of them, my board shuts perfectly.
For nearly 200€ it's not worth it. Really disappointing. Everything is plastic, the paint job is average, no magnets, no electronics to make it closer to the movie. Pass
I got one for Christmas, and only now realized that the colors on mine look...washed out, I guess, one could say? They're not nearly as bright as on the pictures or any of the review videos I've seen. The game seems to be official, but they look dull, and I don't know why.
I promise you that it looks MUCH better in person. I thought it looked bad too, but I fixed the rules (which were super easy to peel off and stick back) & purchased better tokens and dice on Etsy. Also the game they made out of it is actually really fun! Reminds me of Sorry.
@@PatientBC it looks beautiful but not worth 130 quid when it's made of plastic, the paint chips easily, the lid doesn't close properly and the pieces aren't even magnetic.
Ricky Manson I’ve had mine since Christmas and there isn’t a single piece of paint that’s been chipped off, and I’ve taken the board on a plane. My lid closes perfectly, and the majority of fan made board’s pieces aren’t magnetic either. But if you want to pay £2500 for a wooden board go right ahead, luckily I have no regrets spending £130 on a board that I don’t have to be delicate with out of the fear of the wooden hinges falling apart, or the wood warping over time...talk about buyers remorse after spending that much.
