This is an incredible guide. I mained sylv when i first started but he was pushed aside for clairen. I have since then picked up ranno and eli as secondaries beside him. I’m trying to get better at sylv as he is the worst out of my 4 char. currently. This is going to help a lot. Instant yt sub and twitch follow.
Did not know a recovery like that was possible on air armada that was pretty sick watching that, you forsburn vids especially give me so much inspiration today get better. And then Cake’s forsburn is also cool I guess
THANK YOU for this! Really appreciate the time spent here and all the great tips. Question: can you break down the Bair platform cancels, like you do so well at 26:44? Are you using the C-stick to angle? I get that you're doing Bair angled down then wavedashing, then plat dropping again...but that's a lot of inputs really fast at once, tips are needed. I'm still pretty new to the game, so anything will help a lot!
I bought the game yesterday, and I already have like 5-6 hours into this game. I was a hyper fan of Guilty Gear Core Plus, so since I main Abba in that game, I felt in love with Elliana. Elli is so much fun to play, but I wanted a secondary character, so I chose Sylv. He is a extremely fun character to play, his combos are cool af, and his play style feels unique. Man, I love Rivals
Can we call the tech of backair floors stabs of the ledge and waveland on ledge a "ledge Rott" After Rottweiler? I use that shit all the time and it's so good.
Hey! *Budding* Sylvanos main here. Just got the Switch version and had a thought. Have you tried Moonwalk D-Tilt to bait approaches? Just tested in Practice and looked nasty idk
