@@rollo6038 I just finished wreckmaster 4/5 and 6/7, We learned the tail wrap in that class and I was wrong, he was on the right side of it, however in the class they hooked to the low side wheel and said it needed to stay in park to properly get lift a slight lift on it and bring it out of the lean, It worked in the class with the trailer brakes locked and hooked to the wheel and it worked on a hell of a leaner in 55 mph wind gusts during the class, So I'm not sure if it works properly while rolling or if it works properly when not hooked to the low side before the wrap and instead if you are just hooked to the rear of the rig, Id imagine you need to be actually attached to the low side then wrap to create a slight lift on it. Also in the class they said you wanted the tail wrap to stay relatively low on the truck so a lot of things in this video are different to the point where I'm not sure if the physics back up the technique anymore but i have no idea. All that being said it wasn't leaning enough to be a problem either way but I also didn't see any counter leaning to correct the truck until it was already climbing out of the hole so I don't really think this tail wrap works in terms of rigging for a lean I think all I did was the forward winching aspect of a tail wrap.

They were out there doing septic work, the septic company needed the gravel back there... and I agree about the conctete, even I didn't want to drive my wrecker on it.. that's why I was sure to back all the way off the concrete before performing the recovery.. I dont like being off roadway but after inspecting the ground where I needed to be it was deemed hard enough... we havent had rainin awhile

I was wondering if you could back that big of a tow truck Down that drive way without busting the concrete.

they didnt want it dumped right there, and once he lifted the bed it probably would have caued the rear axle to sink to the point he couldnt get back out anyways.

With it leaning, lifting the load to dump it could have flipped it on its side.
