That car in it’s original form (red accent interior and carpet) is exactly my dads car. Soon to be mine. His needs some TLC but pretty amazing how unmolested it is. Even rockin the tape deck.

You just gotta set those pushrod engines up right. Mine pulls out to 6200. That’s a gorgeous vert. If it was mine I’d do a roll bar and Saleen wing 👌👌

That would be a favorite drop top for me and I'm not really a vert guy. So clean and done very tastefully with the wheels & three inch tips where cosmetically goes. Cant lie...a Saleen wing would tighten this up even more IMO, but I'd try to find an authentic one to use as well.

I have been considering Our Dream for my paint job for over a year. I might have to take a road trip sometime. It's hard to think about sending her so far away though (again) lol... I’m on the hunt for this kind of car. I know I want a stiffened chassis with a hoop for canyons and mountain roads along with track days. I want a 295 wide tire square setup, wide body fenders are acceptable. Terminator IRS swap. I want a gen 3 coyote with the a10, easy power and something my wife can drive.

I have the tremec with the 2.66 1st gear which is a longer 1st gear so I went with 4.30s but I used a 275/60/15 Dr which is basically 28 inches tall. If I used a 26 inch tall tire 4.10s would have been plenty if not a little too much. I have a 347 notch though at 3k lbs. she goes good 3.73s are a good choice I think with either tremec magnum. Mustangs are light.

@@GearHead704 tremec just released a new 5 speed to replace the tko 500 and 600. It has some really nice features. Small , light , strong and the gearing inside. And the price.

@@GearHead704 I was curious if you would know if you have a mechanical cable actuated clutch or hydraulic setup with your blue car ? And have you ever had any throwout bearing issues? My car are up a throwout bearing in about 400 miles which is odd. Could just be a bad bearing but doing research before putting it back together tomorrow when the bearing gets here.

@@6spd85notch I"ve got a mechanical cable and the aftermarket clutch fork I was using had some problems, so I replaced it and the throwout bearing with a Ford piece and it's perfect now.
