Matt is that one friend we all have that believes that "meeting at 9" means "setting off at 9"... Totally incapable of knowing that travel takes time haha :D
@@RealCivilEngineerGaming haha... meeting at the pub "Sorry I'm late boys, just needed to grab one more iron before I left" haha.... Love the vids man. Keep it up!
In a perfectly engineered world, where architects does not mess with plans, we would know exactly how much time we need to get somewhere and would be able to plan accordingly.
Interesting, the game does seem to create the enemies that counter your main weapon but your dome will also come with defensive measure that counter them. When you use laser dome, more ground enemies will come to you but you get the electric dome to zap them and if you choose the sword dome, more flyer unit will come for you but you get the deflector shield.
After watching so many videos of Matt playing this game like an architect, I'm impressed he finally played it like a true engineer and even completed it without triggering the relic. Update: 330 likes and one from Matt? OMG thanks guys
He still missed a huge upgrade. The teleported will teleport resources back to the dome. So, if you leave the teleporter in a pile of resources while exploring the area you don’t waste time hauling resources around
Once you edit your comment you lose the like from the creator, it’s a safety feature from RU-vid to protect its creators but it’s sad when you lose your like as a fan 😢
All the more reason to not edit the comment lesgooo No more Edit: OMG !!!1!111!!! 1K LIKES TY SO MUCH GUYZZZZ Or Edit: HEART FROM "youtuber name here" OMG!!1!!1
I'm glad to see that the devs fixed the ending. Last time he won without the relic it said "the dome is lost" because they didn't expect anyone to win without the big boom.
I have to tell you, one of the best things about your channel (besides your humor) is that I can find a video from a game I've missed, open your channel and find an organized playlist of all the times you've played it. Love to see such high quality work!
Następnym razem sprubuj ulepszyć teleporter ponieważ zamiast ciebie bendzie on teleportować rudy lecz niewiem jak wydajnie. Nie jestem pewien angielskiej wersji ale wyszły dwa rużne teksty o tej samej koncepcji The next time try upgrede portal to transport minerals, but it be imposibel to move insaide until upgrede another time.
If you save up for the teleporter upgrades to teleport resources and still be able to teleport you back you basically only have to drag the relics back manually.
Honestly, what I hope for the most is you taking on a massive map and just clearing everything out and upgrading literally everything in a two-part prestige run.
i suggest you upgrae the teleporter next time. while being able to port up and down is useful, having the portal suck up ressources for you better. and you can get that function back with another upgrade too. it works best if you build a central dumping shaft with the portal at the bottom and just pile up the chunks onto it. just keep in mind that the portal is a bit slow, even with the upgrade the late game will overwheln it quickly, so some manual work can't be avoided.
It would have to be either a TAS situation, because all the heals are locked behind the health meter, or a map where you can bee-line for the relic in a few cycles.
The health meter is pretty much needed, but I suppose you could do that without the enemy proximity sensor. Just count how many seconds each cycle has and go wild
Matt you should use the teleporter more, use the usual strip mining procedures with straight line in the middle and to the side every 2 grid (this way you doesn't need sonar, that thing suck) and you should made the Middle hole at least 3 grid deeper so you can put teleporter in it and just throw any resource to said hole, this way you doesn't need to waste too much resources on speed and carrying (i usually managed to finish a run with only one upgrade or two at most on each, that just how broken the teleporter is) Honestly tho, seeing you carying resources back while having teleporter just pain me
I too shared your pain having watched matt take resources aaaall the way back for no reason. He either doesn't get how gamebreaking the teleporter is or he doesn't use it that much or else it would be a more boringly efficient and similar video every time.
I feel like the mining strategy you are using in this works well for the normal map but this is a maze map it there are more routes hidden behind the things so strip mining isn’t as effective on this style map
Yo, you should play VR, they just made one of the most popular game in the world, you can make cars, houses, everything! They are all. Accurately lifesized as well.
Right at the end when RCE was being swarmed by flyers, he could have used the reflection but didn't. I guess he didn't need to though since he won anyway.
Matt the lift is very bad once you get it but it becomes the best gadget in the game once you fully upgrade it also you should prioritize collecting resources rather than spending it all on a weapon. You should probably start a world with a large map because that’s the only type of map where you’d get the upgrades you want because you’re being way too greedy for a small map
I watch your videos mostly at night and they focus my adhd head on one source of noise enough to me sleepy and let me tell you I was about half asleep when I was informed rather dramatically that you'd be getting to heavy blade 3.
Architect here: you need to let your HP drop to get the free repair. You're keeping your HP too high. Only repair if the autorepair has already procced that round.
Apparently that's one of the upgrades, but after some point it just isn't worthy it because you could invest on speed and carry strength, which is more manual work but argueably faster. Unless we're talking an endless mode, I suppose
@@wisko9847 yes, with a prestige system attached where you gotta send resources out of the planet. Would like to see how lonw does Matt survive on that lol
If you can’t shoot the sword out without an upgrade, do flying monsters not spawn until you buy the upgrade? So if you don’t get it they don’t ever show up?
Okay so I have a theory about the game. When you crash land on the planet the alien you crush is actually a female alien. Now I assume strictly because its is noticeably smaller than most of the other aliens. upon impact she released pheromones. attracting the waves and waves of male aliens. Now I think this because the first wave aliens seem to attack the dome and Crack it relatively low to the base of the dome. implying they are trying to get under the dome to the pheromones rather than actually break through and get the astronaut. okay thank you for coming to my Ted talk
Matt you remind me of an architect(😮) sometimes when you play games. You don’t read or try everything. You can stab at the very beginning so they don’t even get close to you for the first couple waves.
