Fantastic venue Billy, very quiet plaice , not a sole in sight, but nice not to flounder on a blank.good to see you out dabbling with the rods again. Appreciate your efforts brother 🤘🏼😁
Nice one Billy - good little mix of flattie fishies there. Must have a re-visit to those rigs and maybe try here for some Plaice - I think my goodie box is in need of some smaller circle hooks. Tight lines, stay safe & well, Dave. 🎣🎣👍👍
Had a nice week away travelling down the coast to final destination. Didn´t get a line wet, family comes first right. One spot watched fishermen catching bass that fit in the palm of your hand and keeping them. Not for me, sorry! However, last day, in the same spot, just before leaving, saw some bloody great big bass cruising in the "river"! Going to go back in the coming days to have a proper crack at them with lures and flies. Get a couple of days fishing in relative comfort on the bank of the "river" 🙂 Great video as always there Billy 🙂
Nice one Billy 👍 Fantastic flatfish fun, i tried the flatfish hairs but there's too many dogfish and smooth hounds at the moment, they're a bugger to get off the tiny circles.
@@Billyfishing_watch cheers Billy, I'm trying to avoid the sharks but as you say can only catch whats there. Few Tope around though may try that. Hope you're going somewhere cold and splooshy, Fish on buddy 👍
How it going bud. No, they where defo Danish fish. Couldn't understand a word they where saying 🤣. Yeh man it's a great beach for the bass. Thanks Brother 😁👌
Thats one cracking looking beach, peace and quiet to your heart's content 👌 Are those rods Abu Hellbenders? If so, great rods arent they👍 I had the green multi version until a few years ago then while pulling in a football sized ball of weed, the tip snapped on me about 8-10" down from the tip😢
Hi bud. Yes they are hellbenders, I like the blank. But the tip rigs are to small, I will fix them one day. There good fun when you have a nice fish on. Thanks Brother, see you on the beach 👍😁
Hé Billy, I have seen all youre vids and I like them. I am currently in Norway and I was hopen you can sent me soms good fishing spots in South Norway.
Hi Billy i notice u r using multipliers more and more in ur videos. Which do u prefer using and why. I cast around the same distance with both but dont have the bottle to use braid on my multipliers. I prefer using multipliers because they feel better balanced and comfortable but appreciate there r circumstances when fixed spools have their advantages, much faster retrieve and no overuns after dark.😂
Hi Steve. 99% of the time when I am surfcasting I use a multiplier. The truth is about multipliers, they cast further depending on who is using them. I have been casting with multipliers since I was 15 years of age. So on average I will get between 20 and 30% extra distance with a multiplier. But the fixed spool generally has a faster retrieve. But that depends on the size of the multiplier. I own some Penn fathom 40s multipliers, and there is no fixed spool on the market that can keep up with them. But as always with fishing tackle there are pluses and minuses to all tackle. So whatever gets you fishing most effectively is what you should use. Thanks Brother, see you on the beach 👍😁👌
Nothing too exciting there Billy but I am looking forward to your next offerings. That looks a lovely clean beach. I have seen you fishing there before and I have never seen anyone else fishing, don’t they fish in Denmark?
Hi Chris. You can only catch what is swimming in the sea. No, beach fishing is not all that popular. But the Danes love their sea trout fishing, in the fjords. Thanks Brother 😁👍
fishing from the beach isnt popular unless it's trout. much of denmark is shallow by the coast and people flock to the piers and harbors to fish to get access to deep water without the large rod/reels.
Hi George. For the price you pay for them, I would hope so 🤣 yes they are very nice, I would like a faster retrieve. But you can't have everything, thanks Brother 👍😁👌
So there I was on the beach chanting under my breath '' first cast fish, first cast fish, first cast fish''. Why would I do that? I don't usually do that. So the lead flew out nicely,,,,,,, and so did the tip ring. I'm blaming you Billy, all your fault. Undaunted I got the other rod out and decided that the broken one would be ok at 30 yards in the surf. Result ? Keeper Bass on the broken rod .I kept my mouth shut on the cast and that did the trick. Dongle rig might have helped a bit so thanks for that.
Sorry Lee, I'll be more careful the next time 🤣👌 but it's okay, you seem to have redeemed yourself. Congratulations on the nice bass, thanks Brother, see you on the beach 😁👍
