THANK YOU SO MUCH For making this video! We're bringing my mother in law with us, and we will be new at navigating accessibility in public! Your video is easing A LOT of my nerves and stress, thank you thank you!!

Can't tell you HOW MUCH of a blessing your videos have been to our family. My wife and I discovered your channel yesterday. This will be our first trip to Disney since my wife's disability is making it hard for her to do get out and experience the things we enjoy.

In the beginning, it is very hard as there were not a lot of videos out there for us. We started this channel so we could help and show other people that it is possible to travel to Disney go on cruises and more. We have been to all of the parks and Brooke and I each other favorite one. Also do not forget to sign up for DAS. I know it is a little harder to get approved now that Disney has changed the requirements for it. -A

“Backward exits. In the dark. With crocodiles.” You didn’t say the crocodiles part but I said it in my mind. Made me giggle. Great job YET AGAIN!

Thank you!!! When we posted it this morning it was super dark -- I'm guessing this is some kind of RU-vidr right-of-passage but we (mostly Brooke) had quite the panic. Fortunately I realized it was an export setting, so I was able to re-upload. It stinks that RU-vid won't let you replace a vide with another. Your encouragement means a lot to us. Thank you!

Thank you! These videos are awesome. My mom had a stroke this year, and can’t walk far, or stand for long time periods. But, she’s cleared to travel, and we don’t want her to miss this experience with her grandkids. So new to figuring out how to navigate what she can do in a scooter there, so these videos are very helpful!!

You are so welcome! Disney is very scooter friendly and the lines that don't allow scooters will have wheelchairs you can borrow to push her. I hope you have any amazing trip!

My spouse and I just stumbled onto your channel tonight and watched a couple videos together. Spouse asked me to send a video link so they could subscribe from their account, and I’m up with insomnia binge watching and have subscribed from mine. Thanks for bringing some magic our way!

It still boggles the mind that Disney haven't made videos like this themselves. Yet another great video Brooke and Aadam :)

Yeah. It seems like Disney relies heavily on bloggers to promote the details of the park experience, but that leaves a hole for people with disabilities or other special needs.

WOW! My child went on her make-a-wish trip last year. We missed so many rides because we did not know they were accessible. We thought we had to transfer her to the ride seat and leave wheelchair behind.

Magic Kingdom is the Most iconic park of all of the Walt Disney World parks. There’s something about it that people just love. Riding the rides and staying for the fireworks is a must do when visiting them. -A

Space Ranger Spin is also a pretty tight fit for service dogs larger than a cocker spaniel. Same with Haunted Mansion. It gets tight in those little omnimovers that clip up and over.

Thank you for this video! It has been the best one that I have viewed on RU-vid. My husband has recovered from a stroke and will walk on his own. However, he struggles with stepping down and pulling himself back up. How will he ride attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean? Rockin Rollercoaster? Rides that you have to step down into and pull yourself up? Thanks for the help.

We really appreciate your video, showing us the wheelchair rides in Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. We are travelling to WDW soon and my husband has a mobility issue and has to use a scooter. He feels 100% better after watching your videos, and seeing, he will be able to enjoy so many rides without a big problem. We want to do the railroad and seeing that my husband can stay in his scooter was terrific. What station did you have to go to to access that car?
@Imaginary.Lemons
@Imaginary.Lemons 7 месяцев назад
Thank you so much for the kind words. We are so happy we can help you feel prepared for your trip! At Disney world, all of the stations are wheelchair accessible. Now, you might not be able to keep a scooter on the train, but they will have a wheelchair you can borrow to get on. That or you can rent a chair like the one Aadam uses. Being in a chair lets you avoid some of the transfers that are required if you use a scooter.

Have you tried getting onto the Resistance Tour? Also, is the process very different if you’re on an ECV and not a wheelchair?
@Imaginary.Lemons
@Imaginary.Lemons 7 месяцев назад
Rise of the resistance you go through the queue just like everyone else. The only thing that I have noticed is that I am always sit in the front of the trackless vehicle as the door pops open for easier getting in and out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--RAMu0gaRj0.htmlsi=P-HcOMy2tEz01Exv 8:15. Did Brooke have to get an extra pass to ride as well? Or did you both regularly wait in line? We’re going with 7 total 1 in a chair. Obviously we’d like to ride together
@Imaginary.Lemons
@Imaginary.Lemons 10 месяцев назад
Aadam does qualify for the DAS and it allows for 5 people plus the DAS user. You’ll need to talk to guest services to see if they will allow an extra person. Be very nice to the cast members and they have a lot of discretion here. When we go in a group of four, Brooke always rides with Aadam and the other two are usually in the car right behind them.

Can I ask a question? im planning on going with 2 friends and I use a scooter, does this mean most of the rides only require one person to ride with me or could they accommodate two. If so, id just ride alone its no big deal im just wondering. if this is the case, would it be okay for my friends to still come with me to the wheelchair specialised area.
@Imaginary.Lemons
@Imaginary.Lemons 5 месяцев назад
In this video when we say that one person can accompany the user, we are talking about the individual ride car - there is only one space next to the wheelchair. When we have more people with us, they still wait in line with us and get in the next car. If you are using a scooter, you won’t be riding onto rides - other than jungle cruise. You will park your scooter and then walk a bit to the ride. You can still ask for the TAV if you think the wider door will make it easier for you to get into the ride car.
@Anthonydbrown13
@Anthonydbrown13 5 месяцев назад
@@Imaginary.Lemons Thankyou so much for your reply, so just to be clear because this is my first time going, do I park my ECV before I get into the DAS pass queue or will an attendant let me know when to get out and return it to me. Thankyou so so much
@Imaginary.Lemons
@Imaginary.Lemons 4 месяца назад
An attendant will let you know when to park. Most of the time you can ride your scooter almost to the end where you get on.
