My only previous experience was with the cam-style torque limiter, and this video was great for explaining how the others are different. I had no idea you could over-torque with a click-style, or that hand position mattered with click-style and beam-style.
I have the cam version. Sometimes if I do one continuous movement it feels like it clicks way past the torque setting, but if I tighten by increments, it feels that it clicks at the right torque set. Am I using it wrong?
I recently bought a torque wrench from the local park tool distributor... unfortunately I'm having a pretty bad experience with this tool. Mine doesn't click when reach the torque value... It's absolutely quiet... Could it be a warranty case? 😢 😢😢
Hi! We actually address this in the Click Type Torque Wrench video we uploaded alongside this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nc6fqnF5T2A.html
