Hi Rita, so glad to hear you've been enjoying working with our materials! :) The Orficast material is comprised of thermoplastic. Orthoses made from this material will hold up fairly well for rehabilitation purposes, depending on the individual patient, his or her specific clinical diagnosis, and their daily routine. Obviously, for larger individuals with heavy work demands, we might recommend a stronger material, but it really depends on the evaluation and assessment of the patient and their needs for function versus rehabilitation. Hi Eunice, it is possible to use Orficast More 30 cm for a humeral fracture brace and perhaps reinforce it with a strip of Orficast More 15 cm down the middle. Adhere these together via dry heat or hot water prior to molding.
