Workout
Cardio - Walking/Running
Walk roughly 0.75 of a mile
Jog/Run 1.75 miles
I walk and jog/run in intervals! I will walk for 1-3 minutes and then I will jog/run for 3-5 mins. On and off until I get to 2.5 miles or more depending on the day of training ahead of me.
Shoulder Training:
1. Hang Cleans - 8 sets x 3-8 reps per set
Progressively move up in weight as the sets progress!
I worked up to 275lbs this workout.
2. Dumbbell Side Raises - 5 set x 8-15 reps per set
3. Heavy Dumbbell Shrugs - 7 sets x 10-20 reps per set
Progressively move up in weight as the sets increase!
4. Standing Barbell Presses - 5 sets x 6-15 reps per set
Progressively move up in weight as the sets increase!
This is a functional shoulder day for me. I do functional training like this 2-3 days a week. The other training days are still bodybuilder style workouts!
On functional days, my goal is to challenge myself with new physical movements (ie: running, hang cleans, box jumps, burpees, wall push ups) - things that I haven't done in my previous years of training!

Its fukn crazy but I swear to god I have had 100% better workouts since I have been trying to adopt your attitude going into the gym. (My own shitty garage gym at the moment). It just dawned on me, that he was doing side laterals with reasonably good form with 70 lb in each arm and all the dumbbell incline overhead pressing work or he uses dumbbells weighing over a hundred fifty pounds each, he is always getting them in the position by himself. I am 47 years old and I've been lifting weight since I was 14. Before my shoulder surgery I did a lot of dumbbell presses. I did both incline and overhead dumbbell presses and I remember that the most functional aspect of both exercises was cleaning the dumbbells in the position. I would see people kicking in the position with their knees, but I remember answer Ley training my thighs to be sore for 2 or 3 days and whenever I train shoulders for some reason it always seem to land within that time frame and placing dumbbells on my knees and trying to kick them to my shoulders cause shooting pain across my lower size that radiated down my leg. as a result I became pretty good at cleaning dumbbells. So over time as you get stronger on the incline or seated overhead press because you are cleaning the dumbbells prior to pressing your cleaning strength goes up contemporaneously with your pressing strength. Because most people are smarter when it comes to making life easier oh, that was a joke of course because most people are morons. Although I honestly believe that individuals who become extremely strong and or aesthetic who are not in the 0.5% of genetic Marvels, are typically smarter than the average person and certainly more motivated and goal oriented. My theory as to why so many people in mainstream Society think bodybuilders are stupid, aside from the fact your typical individual how is automatically deemed to be smarter than most by societal standards such as the College in a Tweed sports jacket with a beard and glasses (I.e. scholars/ intellectuals), the trusted you know white coat with a stethoscope around his neck, the nerdy accountants wearing a very conservative suit with a button down shirt and Club tie and very little in the way of style, the flashy trial with a custom three-button charcoal gray suit that cost well over two grand with a well starched dress shirt with a fashionable color French cuffs , a bold silk necktie with pocket , very well shined expensive dress shoes, the nerdy scientist with various chemical stains all over his lab apron and plastic safety goggles and software engineer wearing a Tommy Bahama shirt, board shorts no socks and shoes you wear at the beach along with an unshaven face and long hair are either pencil necks, tall and in good shape with broad shoulders and a somewhat commanding presence but not heavily muscled in the case of the trial attorney, a CEO or Wall Street executive or slightly chubby hippies who dress like Surfers but you know that surfing is way too cool for them and they probably are into hiking and mountain biking. Many strength and combat athletes such as football, the sports of wrestling submission grappling, MMA, boxing, kickboxing can I wear normal clothes off the rack due to extreme proportions Oar extreme size. in weight class Sports although many of the athletes are not huge they have extreme proportions such as oversized neck muscles including large traps lats and shoulders combined with a small waist thick thighs glute muscles . As a result High fashion dress clothes must be custom-made or heavily tailored which often ruins the look of a suit. therefore many of these guys or t-shirt and shorts or t-shirt and jeans most of the time. the problem and part of the reason they're perceived as less intelligent in some cases is when they wear gym apparel well I'm not in the gym, or silly 80s bodybuilding fashion such as Zubas as and T Michael. remember baggy tiger striped pants in the pastel-colored polyester sweatshirts with boat necks. the other thing is they will wear shirts that are basically Billboards for the sport. there is nothing worse then shirts that say Tapout or slogans or pass out , tap or snap, or anything else that implies that you are badass. What you are actually saying to the public is I am insecure, I was bullied, and I have very bad taste but these clothes are designed to protect me from potential situations where I might be humiliated. I hate to burst your bubble but you already humiliated yourself the minute you walked out side in that outfit. Fortunately, the true athletes rarely dress this way and the wannabes who are either novices or don't even train the wannabes
@eddiearchuleta1757
@eddiearchuleta1757 4 года назад
Dawg, I feel like I just read a fuckin novel and not to sure what the synopsis of this comment was supposed to be. Went from form to how people dress to hide their insecurities, and needless to say, I’m kinda throwed off by the mind fuck I just experienced.

Now with this coronavirus, I have a stair master at home so I do fasted cardio (a.m. before breakfast) and then train at home in the evening with my home gym (dumbells from 25-50lb), iron gym pull up bar (weightedbelt), powerlifting bands. This way I break up cardio and weight training. Have done really good the last month since I'm in a cutting phase anyway and have shredded from 208 to 188lbs so far. Not letting this pandemic stop my bodybuilding goals!!

@sethferoce thank you for everything you do. Thank you for the encouraging words you give your fans. Thank you for being a shining example of a good, honest, and hardworking man. This quarantine, virus, and economic situation has hit my family hard. I lost my job and my wife is 6 months pregnant. At first I was freaking the fuck out. Especially without my gym time to release the stress and tension. But then I remembered what you always say Seth. "I don't have problems I just have work to do." So I decided then and there I will look at this like an opportunity to figure out my next step, figure out what options I DO HAVE, and be a fuckin man and carve a new path forward. I needed this video this morning brother... and again thank you for your inspiration and encouragement. -Brandon Josefowicz

Sick physique man! Love the training videos! I have watched most of your training videos to learn techniques to enhance my own training and I thank you for all the the tips. I now cant go into the gym without thinking with each rep that I am "pushing blood" into the muscle. Needless to say the pumps are better with that mindset of push blood high volume less rest between sets and higher reps 10-20. Thanls Seth love the content and what yoi do. Real inspiring story and humble despite the tremendous success.

I used to get runners high when I played lacrosse. If you want a runners high you need to sprint as hard and as fast as you can for a long period of time, like an hour. It takes months to get to a point where you can even push yourself hard enough to get one. When you get a runners high you’ll know because it feels like someone hit the nitrous and you speed up.
