Welcome to the Matriarch Sounds series! Today, we will create fundamental sounds which can be used as is - or layered with upcoming texture-focused samples to create dynamic (but still musical) polyphonic patches.
.WAV samples are available at the links below for each sampled note. If you really want to customize your use of these samples, a .wav of the raw recording session for each patch is also provided. If you're a Nord Stage 3 user, .nsmp3 files are available to download at the links below. Think of these basic sounds like a "superwave" from the Nord, but they're more cooperative, versatile, and musical.
