Sir, when do we need to etch the tooth then? After desensitization or before desensitization???

If we are planning to use bonded restoration like composite, then there is no need to apply desensitizer. Desensitization is only for non-bonded restoration like amalgam

Thank you sir for clear presentation. I know that you are against GIC restorations but still curious to know that, Should someone desensitize the tooth prior to GIC restoration?

No need to desensitize before doing GIC restoration. I love doing GIC restorations. It has its own advantages. Even I have made a video about GIC in my students channel " smart dentistry student zone"
