I feel normal means 2% Gutta percha cones...We shall always do lateral compaction after cleaning and shaping with protaper system. To choose the right size, we should use 2%hand files and should check which file is binding at the working length. That size cone should be used as mastercone. Usually 30size cone will be a starting point in most cases

If the preparation is well done with hand files, then it will be extremely difficult to differentiate

With rotary instrumentation, with proper lubrication, recaptulation is not needed. We do recaptulate with 15k file if some obstruction is felt

@@smartdentistry i have another question sir, should we use brushing motion with rotary instruments? Or only slight picking motion?

For shaping files we shall use brushing motion. For finishing files just pecking motion without much pressure is indicated@@goksuozalp52
