I wanted to throw together a video noting some of the aspects of the trail not necessarily discussed in the official guidebook or other online materials, and where my personal experience revealed them to be hyperbolic/misleading. In short, a summary of the main thoughts I had in the week following my completion of the trail (June 2022).

Some background on the Fundy Footpath is that it is an ~65km trail along the coast of the Bay of Fundy (New Brunswick side). It is a thru hike that can either be started within Fundy National Park or a private access tourist centre at Big Salmon River. Both directions will be equally painful, but if you have a Parks Canada pass already then there is no fee to leave your vehicle at the national park and you can start or finish at any time of day (whereas the Big Salmon side closes at 5/8pm depending on time of year).
