It's hell on earth! Sometimes I had to remind myself to breath! My body still aches for one more hug! His 29th birthday is coming up and the 9th anniversary in Sept. He was healthy! Except for having Epilepsy, and he had a heart stopping one in his sleep. That morning has burned in my soul and sometimes I cannot get it out of my head. I wouldn't wish this on anyone... Prayers going up for this precious family!!! This neighbor if they have any remorse, needs to, I'm sorry, I don't know what they should do. That is up to God not Man! For anyone who reads this and has lost a child or any family, I am praying for you and yours. Much love to you all!

Let this be a lesson to everyone out there to pay your electric bill, even if you have to make a payment plan with the utility company. It's just not worth losing your life over a gas generator, which should NEVER be used inside the house, and definitely not as a source of warmth.

Maurice Rivers yeah but this should be on the landlord who didn't pay the OUTSTANDING bill BEFORE the family moved in. I guess he didn't have the funds and the power company refused to work with him.... according to the articles I've been reading.

After someone called the light company on him because he was stealing light that's how he ended up with the no good generator in the first place instead of who ever told mind there business or help them should feel very bad love one another this could've been avoided

I didn't want to say this because I didn't want to be rude but it's pretty much common knowledge that you don't run a generator indoors. They are run on gasoline, hence the carbon monoxide fumes. He should have known this but it's still sad. He was only trying to do the best he could.

The community is missing so often these days, and the church is fractured with limited reach. Extended families are not what they once were and the fabric of our society has changed dramatically in the last 50 years. People are isolated and lack the support systems needed to function fully.

SAME!!!! I have 3 boys who are now 23, 21, and 20 but when they were around 5,3, and 2 I went through some tough stuff and had to give my ex full physical custody. We had split and I'm sorry but I was not going to let 3 little boys, one who had just started kindergarten, basically couch surf with me. I acted like the adult I was and made the decision that was in the best interest of my boys and that was letting Keith have physical custody and he was very generous with visitation time between the boys and I. As long as I gave him at least a bit of notice he would let me take them overnight or on special little day trips, anything really. We are in no way compatible and will never get back together but I will say it with my last during breath... Keith is an absolutely AMAZING father who have those boys a wonderful life. He took my our oldest to St Maarten for his 18th bday and then took him back for the big 21 because he loved it so much. Lol he was quite impressed with the fact that 18 is the legal drinking age in St Maarten. He was so cute he said mum the bartender gave me 2 free drinks just because it was my birthday. I didn't have the heart to say yes it was your bday but he was counting on you buying MORE drinks the more buzzed you got lol.... Anyhow yes Keith is an amazing, amazing father.
