@annette williams: with all that goes on at schools in this day and age, i'm glad i'm neither in school or have kids in school. i agree with you 100% that this is heartbreaking and completely out of control. this kind of thing never happened when i was a student and its too bad that the kids of today don't experience the same kind of security that i did.
It would have been a few more funerals after that if that was my baby! These schools, parents and law enforcement are doing absolutely nothing about kids being bullied! I will 2 piece a kid real quick about mine. Rest In Peace beautiful angel
Omg, I totally agree, my grandson going into 5th grade is being bullied, he has ADHD he is smart, good looking but talks a mile a minute, makes noises with his mouth sometimes, at his uppity school in Ohio they downplay bullying. But if your lgbtq, then it's on, sickening.

I teach my niece and nephew to defend their self..no matter what the teacher say dont let nobody put their hands on you and i ensure them they will not get in trouble at home..
My father taught me that too. Whenever I would get into a fight his first question was "Did you win?" Lol. I never got in trouble for defending myself.

Reading this story and looking at that little casket just made me cry and sad inside as a mother we wake up we get our children up for school so they can get an education and school is a safe place learning environment. Who wants to receive a call from school saying your child is in ICU...fighting for her life.

Everybody is loved by somebody. We must find a way to stop senseless violence and treat others as we want to be treated. This beautiful girl is now in the bosom of the Father.
I thank God my child has only two more years of the school system and that I only have one child. These schools let the kids fight almost. Few years back a kid got killed at school because of a fight where I live. I think at some point the parents and staff should be held responsible. There is no reason this baby should be laid to rest this early. I have yet to hear that anything is being done about this. RIP baby girl.
