FUNHAUS CHANGING FOREVER? - Dude Soup Podcast  

After spending time with Funhaus TV, I think Adam would be surprised how many fans have been here since IG. It was honestly a really cool experience to show newer fans the older content and running jokes that have been around for a long time.

I love Funhaus, they’re really turning into an underrated channel. Not sure why their subscribers hasn’t grown as much, but people are missing out ! Hopefully for 2018 your community will grow. Hands down the best impromptu channel on RT

Here's an idea for FHTV: Every morning at around 8 am James makes a one hour workout routine.

Crazy to think Funhaus has been putting out around 12 videos a week for so long, thats amazing compared to so many other channels, when they change there stuff up to go to about 8 videos a week thats still A LOT, 1 a day maybe 2. Thats still an insane amount of content for us to enjoy. Im so stoked to see what they do with their new plan.

I hope these changes include the animated series Adventure of Black Mark Twain #BringBackBlackMarkTwain Also, #BringBackLaptopLawrence Miss that guy.

I hope you guys get what you need! As in ageing out I am 42 years old, and over the last few years you guys have became my Game of Thrones, as in the thing I do first when I get home from work. I cant speak for all the fans. But i could watch you guys talk about a spot on the floor. I just hope you guys can keep having fun doing it. I think its best when you seem to be having a good time.

I love how understanding Rooster Teeth sounds. Usually you hear about parent companies stepping all over creative ideas instead of meeting somewhere in the middle. I don't know if this is their intention, but it entices me to check out other Rooster Teeth channels.

What James said around 4:45-5:00 I agree with, I used to watch every video you uploaded, but then when you started uploading 2 videos a day I started skipping some videos, then it got to the point where I would only watch demo disk. I got Funhaus fatigue from the same stuff over and over.

Over the years, I've dwindled down on watching Gaming channels. They just aren't entertaining to watch. You guys are literally the only gaming channel I follow, and crazy enough, my favorite RU-vid channel. I fully support any new and changing decisions you guys make, so long that everyone is happy making content. Keep on trucking and lets make it a great 2018!

I miss the old demo disk and wheelhaus when they weren't so formatted. Like sometimes we only see flash games and R34 for the entire video and only like 2 minutes of actual game. I hope they bring back the old random-ass style gameplay.

Are you guys ever gonna do broken game gameplays like Uber Soldier or Garys' Incident or hitman ever again cause those were some of my favorite videos. I am totally OK with you guys taking a break. I watched some old IG and early Funhaus videos not too long ago - There is a very clear difference in the amount of times I laughed.

I support most of your changes and I'm excited to see what comes of it! However, I do ask you, please, please, don't cutdown that much on coop gameplays, they are one of the reasons you are better than many other channels. First you're a big group of people playing instead of one dude on his home and second you're great at humor and have very good chemistry between yourselves, thats your magic guys, let it shine in those kind of gameplays too, not only in sketches which are also amazing. Anyways, cheers and happy 2018, looking forward to what you do, I've been watching you for a shitload of years and I have no doubts that I'll keep doing it for as long as you don't get old and die.

Multicam gameplays like Human Fall Flat are just gold. I believe you should try to vary more on the games you play, rather than cutting sections entirely.

I miss that "Inside Gaming Daily" format presenting some quick video game news. I wish they could do something similar in the future, but probably won't happen, cuz RT has The Know already. Still, it's not the same thing.

Back in the Inside Gaming Daily days and even in Funhaus I've always enjoyed ya'll just playing through really shitty games, FPS's most notably. Bruce and James sitting behind Adam is comedy gold. Still miss my baby boy Spoole though, sigh.

Adam - to your point about keeping Funhaus going after - I am 32. I actually see your channel as the continuation of the OG Sark/APL lineage. I have a feeling people don't really outgrow this kind of content. I still watch both of them and I'm pretty sure I'll be watching this kind of thing for a long time. It's the outstanding format - people with good chemistry playing games and making teh funnies and talking about shit. Good video. Thank the Gods GTA are be less.

I love funhaus so fucking much, and believe in them that they know the changes the have to make are for the better. That being said, I'm not really into the really produced stuff like ELR, so I hope they don't shift too far away from the formula that made me really fall in love with them at IG. :D

I don't normally voice my opinion but I believe that demo disc and the random games like weed shop are your best bet. Definitely your most entertaining videos. Open Haus, Dude Soup, and the extra high production things you've been pushing into the videos more are the things I don't normally watch, they just dont have the consistency in laughs for me. At the end of the day the laughs are what keep me coming back, and I DO come back daily.

I'm really excited to see the shift in content! I don't know how many times I've re-watched Weed Shop, Surfers vs Skaters, Mark Ecko, and other similar gameplay videos - they're pure gold.

Dude Soup & Google Trends have turned into my favourite Funhaus content. Ill often listen to content while on the road, game play doesn't work with that, but longer shows I can listen to and still follow along I'm very grateful for! Dear funhaus, I’ve been a dedicated fan long since the days of inside gaming, you fellas have been the only RU-vid channel that I have constantly watched for this long and that probably won’t change soon. After seeing nearly every piece of content one this channel, with exception to rooster teeth first content, I can say with a lot of confidence that I’m really looking forward to the change of direction. It can always be noticed when you guys really take the time to edit your videos. Some of your best videos, one of my personal favorites being the weed shop video, I think took maybe two months to edit and release after the initial livestream. To know that more time will be dedicated to fewer but better projects really oddly excites me. Long story short I’m just looking forward to whatever content you guys release and I hope you guys another great year. I wanna see more Hitman/Sniper Elite videos, at work I would laugh to the point of tears whenever you guys did a Hitman or Sniper Elite episode disturbing the rest of my coworkers. Especially with Hitman Absolution/2016 versions or continuing with Sniper Elite 4 regardless you guys make amazingly funny content and I hope you guys have a happy new year.

One of the things I really love about Funhaus is the transparency in their creative process and personal thoughts. As someone who doesn't SUUUUPER enjoy all the GTA content, I'm glad to hear they'll be doing more one-off stuff like Club Naughty or Getting Up, because that's the oldschool IG MST3K shit I really love combined with their new creative process and it really shines, and want to see more of it. Also can we please get Bruce singing back in some capacity? Please? I will legitimately pay him for each performance. Also also, can you set up a Patreon so I can just directly give you lovely cunts my money? Cheers.

Fascinating to watch you grow as a company, whilst still delivering the same level of entertainment that has kept me hooked since IG. Quite possibly the only youtube channel who's content I will re-watch months later in the same way I would with content on TV (the IG train simulator and anything Hitman especially). I love this channel soooooo much more than all the other channels I’m subscribed to right now. Y’all have always surprised by how naturally funny y’all are and even during the IG days how high quality everything felt. I did notice that videos have been getting more cookie cut recently and didn’t have the same original Funhaus videos feel to them, so I’m really excited about how y’all are planning to improve the channel. I won't lie, I see where this has come from... Videos recently have still been good but they could be better! You can feel the fatigue and if losing videos means getting better quality content then fair enough! It has started to get stagnant, I took a two month hiatus a few months ago and I've been around since early IG days... I caught up over the holidays but hearing this sounds like a good change! Will still support you guys whatever direction you go needless to say

One thing that makes me sad is that I never get to see a lot of this live show stuff. Being no where near able to make it makes me and presumably a lot of others left out. Basically I was hoping that at some point the Funhaus live show will show up on the channel even if far past when it airs so that people have incentive to go see it. Next thing is that one of the things i love about funhaus is how you will randomly include the people in the room into the videos when something pops up that might interest them and moving your recordings into another room might end up losing some of that "friends hanging out" feel. Thats what I love about this channel is that even when I'm not there I can watch videos and feel in on the jokes. I just don't want the content to be overthought into oblivion where it feels like we are an audience and not one of the guys hanging out.

I've been watching since y'all were IG, and changes like this aren't making me go anywhere. Y'all are the funniest channel I watch and I love y'all. I'm really excited for these changes actually and think 2018 will be a great year for FH.

I’m a week late here but what I love is how consistent you are so whatever you decide to do content-wise I just ask that it’s consistent. I love knowing what video to expect on a certain day whether I like the content or not. That is all, I love you guys, keep doing you.
