Funk Train? ORIGINAL? Well...I hate to burst everyone’s bubble, but the term FUNK TRAIN, was originated by Earl Thompson in the mid 70’s...and it was Texas Southerns Ocean of Soul! This is a true statement that Dr. Gregg could attest to. (God rest his soul). Wish there were videos from that time available. But Earl Thompson, (God rest HIS soul as well) was a true dynamic leader.
