I swear these low quality songs with a fish spinning are a genre of their own. The kind of vibe you want to unironically have while losing your sanity.
I had a party at my place that lasted 32 hours straight. I took everyone’s phones away at 10:00 to try and get everyone to fall asleep, but we all just stayed up without phones. I turn on the tv at 2:30 for the first time and immediately play this video. We watched it for about 10 minutes, and we all transcended. Thank you for giving us that moment
Face off for this song! Really gave me adrenaline! I heard this a few years ago when I went to Mexico and I was having a drink in the back of an alley when I heard this, the people that were listening were laughing and screaming. I'm pretty sure they liked the song as much as I did. Ty
When the fish spun for approximately the 56th time, that really got me. This video has affected my life for the better. I'm going to turn things around- this inspired me to run a new business, pay my debt, and has rekindled my passion for classic literature. I now live in a large and wealthy neighbourhood, and have developed a good name for myself in the air fryer manufacturing community. It has also encouraged me to pursue true love. My 7 children now have access to a full plate of food each day, and will forever know you as the fish who saved them from poverty and relentless hunger. Thank you, fish. You are an inspiration for generations to come. How am I getting hate replies for a satire comment like this 💀 ya’ll r weird asf
It's not in sync, if it was, the fish's head would retern to the exact same place on every other drumbeat. It drifts out of sync very slowly though, so it is close.
That reminds me of a video filmed the near the base of the world trade center were a man named Jack filmed People falling to the deaths and he reportedly filmed a lady wearing black and her entire lower half was gone. Her face was burned and the video is just gross and it also has music in the background
Man what a great song! I sure hope this dosent get played in a really graphic and brutal video of a innocent man being skinned and tortured alive while having his eyes plucked out while having his face ripped off and screaming for help and his hands being cut off and brutally dying in the most graphic way! Thank god that didn’t happen!
This gives the exact same vibes as when a caller for a service asks you to wait as they redirect you to another caller and you just have to sit and listen to crustied music
I accidently woke up my parents at 3 am with this on my tv because I didn't know that the tv volume was really high they were annoyed but also concerned why there was a spinning fish on my tv playing funky town. fun times👍
You see this video is really deep, the fish, as well as the lyricist, both attempt to move, but ultimately stay in place. The artist wishes to leave their current, low quality, unfunky town, whereas the fish tries to move from the low quality video. Eventually all three end at the same point, the end of the video marks the end of the song, showing that the fish spent all the time it had moving in circles, the song spent all its duration in low quality, and the artist spent their entire life dreaming of something funkier. This video truly shows how hopes and dreams are meaningless unless one is willing to take action, displayed flawlessly with a perfectly interconnected triple entendre.
When i hear this song,i cant feel my hands because of me dancing, the rythm makes my face explode, and i feel the adrenaline pumping in my blood, nice song!
This video is a masterpiece. Not only can it exactly simulate the feeling of being a chuckee cheese bathroom immaculately but it can do so while not even mentioning chuck once. These comments also show an interesting study on the way the residents of the internet work, either mentioning the video of the Mexican cartel including this song, or instead laughing and the sheer unintelligible joy they come from this fish. Thank you for your service
This is the song you’ll hear in the elevator and lose your mind wondering every single choice you made. Before it finally stops and you snap onto reality
There are moments in life that have the power to touch the deepest recesses of our hearts, eliciting emotions that transcend words. In those instances, we witness a beauty that defies definition, an enchantment that can only be felt in the depths of our souls. It is a melody that resonates within us, awakening a sense of awe and wonder that lingers long after the moment has passed. This heart touching and beautiful experience reminds us of the profound capacity for joy and connection that lies within each of us. In the stillness of a quiet morning, when the world is draped in a gentle blanket of mist, there is a certain magic that unfurls. The soft rays of the rising sun pierce through the fog, casting a golden glow on the landscape. The symphony of nature's awakening fills the air, as birds serenade the daybreak with their melodic songs. In this serene tableau, time seems to stand still, and we find ourselves immersed in a moment of pure tranquility. It is a heart touching and beautiful scene that reminds us of the inherent harmony and grace of the natural world. A kind word, a compassionate gesture, or a simple act of selflessness has the power to transform lives. In the realm of human connection, there is an extraordinary beauty that emerges when we reach out to one another with empathy and love. It is in these tender exchanges that we witness the boundless capacity of the human heart to heal, to uplift, and to inspire. It is a heart touching and beautiful experience to be swept away by the power of music, to be able to feel its vibrations reverberate through our very being.
The original already kinda has a digital-like sound to it as is (particularly the keys at 0:04 and the vocal filter at 0:11), so I think it lends itself unusually well to a digitally-compressed filter.
I showed this to my dad and it absolutely sent him. Neither of us know why, as soon as he started watching he basically had the opposite of a full blown panic attack. Funni fish
I work tech support and this is what plays in my head when i put someone on hold, while they get punished with a horrible song blaring from the phone speaker as a consequence for calling me a slur
That reminds me of a video filmed the near the base of the world trade center were a man named Jack filmed People falling to the deaths and he reportedly filmed a lady wearing black and her entire lower half was gone. Her face was burned and the video is just gross
This song really gets my blood pumping with adrenaline, I could just pump my hands into the air until they fall off. But I’ll just have to hold off on that for now to save face.
not to sound sappy over a silly video but my dog had a stroke and had to be put down this morning. and this video was the only thing that still got his attention. he would watch the fish spin for hours and hours.
fun fact: the video people have seen is cut because at the end a capybara comes and says "ok i pull up" and kills the people torturing this man then the capybara gives the tortured man a healing potion and they both become great friends!
This is so nice in a weird way, it honestly feels way more “right” than the original which always seemed slightly off to me when I played it on RU-vid, maybe it’s because I remember hearing super compressed versions in the past so hearing the real song in perfect clarity feels odd. The distortion and hiss makes it feel a lot less empty too which kinda works better.
Don't forget get your face has been cut off, eyes gouged out, living only by the effects of drugs, and feeling immense pain as you get stabbed with a box cutter
This makes me happy in ways I can't describe. It's oddly comforting. Like I'm back on the bus in elementary/middle school listening to my ipod with my shitty 7-11 brand headphones that broke every other week. It's like coming home
I have this saved in a playlist called “depressive episode songs”. I listen to these songs with fish spinning and low quality BANGER music when I’m having a depressive episode. Honestly it actually helps.
These memes have made Funky Town become unironically one of my favorite songs and I can't explain it. it's nothing like any of the other music I like. it's infectious with how much of a bop it is.
